Dishes

They are piled up for three days. It's my turn to do them, apparently. No one cares about them. The last time one of the children did them a part fell and broke. Nothing to be angry about since there are plenty of plates left plus I didn't clean up the broken pieces. "If they are all broke we still have the plastic plates, cups, and bekers", one said which is true. I bought them after I bought the old Ford (1970) which was changed into a camper. It looked more like a doll's house but it was fine for the four of us. The first test drive was a few weeks after I gave birth. A befriended couple with a huge camper came along and we crawled through the Netherlands and Germany. It wasn't because of me we only drove about 30 kilometers a day but because of them. While I woke up every few hours to breastfeed and waited for them to wake up (after 2 pm) drink their coffee and gather their stuff, the day was nearly over and more than 30 kilometers (including a break to have a look at..). Next, it was bedtime for us while the couple started drinking and enjoying the night. If you wonder, no, they were not young but 50+ years old. She was an artist and a police officer retired earlier. The plates, bekers et cetera. I saved it all. You never know when I need it again and throwing away I consider a waste of money.
