Value I did it and I am so happy as a child and perhaps I shouldn't I have done it but it makes me happy. Will I use it? No idea but this was my first and for some reason, I still remember the name, and type and have a clear picture of a part of the photos I took with it, the location and how I felt. So yes, I did order the camera I received for my birthday. While discussing it with my daughter who thought the Polaroid was the first, she mentioned she was kind of surprised I already started taking photos at such a young age. Now the talk is over I even value it more. I remember back then a camera was given to a sibling who received back then the with us more promoted brand but unlike her, I took pictures of everything I saw. For some reason, I never got used to the modern digital camera and indeed I never became what I wanted to be. I gave up on it. So this winter I will sit with the same box in my hands as I did in 1972 .. who knows I will start with that camera again. 4.12.24

Metamorphosis of time, change is constant. Now better digital cameras are used. Taking those pictures must be very thrilling to you as a child.
What a beautiful story and memory! It's amazing how something like a camera can hold so much meaning and spark such joy. I hope revisiting it brings you even more happiness and inspiration this winter.
