It wasn't that he hadn't tried but after all that happened the stress took over and his motivation left with each question asked. They all made clear there was only one person to blame, he was wrong and as the bottle took care of most of his pain all need to act, do something left him. He touched it again, it felt weird but it was fine. It all was. No need to stand up, to fix it. He just needed to close his eyes and wait. "The end is near" he grinned. For a moment he thought he heard someone sing. Who was it? Who sang, even laughed out loud? "Jim!" She pushed against the door and called for his name. "I just told you to take a shower. Stop that nonsense, get away from the door." She pushed and forced herself inside, couldn't help herself, and kicked his arse. Her blue velvet shoe made him jump at his feet. She threw the towel at him. "Get dressed. You have better things to do like wasting precious time. The coffee is ready from now on we **cps** (count per second). Within 5 minutes he joined her downstairs. The new clothes she had bought him already made him look better. "Your nose needs to be fixed", she said from behind her laptop.
