Not welcome

Although the Netherlands has no lockdown, no one is forced by law to stay home, the government is making changes. Some might notice them, others won't.
It feels a bit creepy because it's done sneakily. To many the need, urgency, to protect themselves or others is no longer seen. Depression, loss of income, bankruptcy, not able to pay the rent, insurances, paying off debts, and healthy food are eating them. Those small things which make life better are out of reach as soon as worries take over.
Several specialists warned the government. Warnings are just a bit of advice. Advice is great if it fits with what the PM has planned, the EU has in mind (read the Kallergi plan, the EU uses it to build a new state, a new race), the Cabal ordered leaders to do.

Facebook is not the only one selling us, so does the government. Freedom was what once was fought for, freedom is no longer a right. All life doesn't matter. This pandemic made it clear. Many elderly died because medical care was denied. By now the "youth" turns out to be a group of molesters, vandalizing and terrorizing the country. It's a good thing because they give the government food for thought which means new rules because...

Visitors were forbidden at home for some people.
Next, only three were allowed if they kept six feet distance. Distance means inside your house you cannot be close. Sit next to each other on the sofa or at the dining table.

During this summer an "outbreak" started. An outbreak? Hardly anyone was tested during the pandemic, the period March till June. Not even the caretakers/nurses of elderly and sick people. No matter if they worked ar elderly homes, institutions or visited their clients at home. Tests were started after the "lockdown" (partly closed borders) ended, at the time holidays started

The number of infected people increased. Those people are the "youth". The main part of the population who doesn't care about the pandemic. That part of the nation which goes out and wants to "celebrate". Although not more people end up in the hospital and there's no outbreak according to the specialists the government says there is and ignores the specialists. There's a good reason for that. The government's new law, the one they tried to force upon the people (it should have started July 1, 2020) was not accepted by the parliament. A law that gave the police the right to check houses, you, your family, and guests whenever they like.
If you believe the PM accepted the vote of the congress you are wrong. Like said the "youth" gave him a good excuse to come up with something new.
Again there is a max of guests that you can welcome inside your home which is six. No matter if you have a wedding, anniversary or funeral. Six and six feet is the limit next to those living in the house.
The OMT (Outbreak Management Team) specialists advised it the PM said as he announced it. At least that's what he wants us to believe. In reality, the OMT gave totally different advice: 10 guests, they said and for weddings, funerals, et cetera 30 guests inside your home. The newspaper reported this "small" difference or should we say the fact the PM lies again. Not that this is a surprise since after all his nickname is Pinocchio.

As far as I know, the PM can only advise having six visitors. The constitution is against it. He needs that new law to give him all the power he needs to wipe out democracy, freedom, and life.

I realized that you didn't have a blockade because you could go on a trip across borders. I do not understand the desire of people to have so many social gatherings in moments of such misery! I think I'm giving my opinion from what I read in the world. Most likely, there in Holland there are not so many deaths. I don't know ... but it's a mess here.

At first I could not go on a trip. It was not allowed. Might be I could have left at that time because of my nationality but the problem was how to return. As I finally left I asked the ambassadors and checked the government sites I knew to become wiser. Only Germany asked questions. Apparantly "going home" was enough answer. If quarantine was required it would be no problem but at the time I left it was allowed to travel again. They told you to only travel to countries with the same color. A few days ago I read parts of Spain, the Island Malta, Parts of France and Belgium are red now too. This still means you can travel but thosecountries can send you back, might be quarantine for 2 weeks at the border, tests and the government will not help you to get back home.

So you are from the Netherlands and no lockdown in there? and no infections increase. I wonder why some countries including ours have so many new cases. Maybe they're playing or fooling us, well nobody knows.

That is an interesting question most likely no one can answer. In may they started with primary school again. It worked out fine (tested a few weeks) next they started with other schools. No more people hospitalized. Twobig demonstrations...two weeks later not an increasing number of ill people. Shops were allowed to remain open if they stick to the social distance rule (max of customers in a shope depends on the size of the shop). People can clean their shopping cart if they like plus hands before they go inside. The shops are not extremely clean I can tell you. From day number one people kept shopping, chatting, I saw elderly do the same. Restaurants, snackbars could only do catering, delivering at home, same with other shops. The only ones who had to close down were those with "body contact" professions: hairdressers, massage, fysio therapists, nail studios etc. Many started online. The result all online shops earned 60% more. Why does this disease not increase faster? A small, overcrowded country. No face masks. I doubt many disinect what they buy or disinfect their hands more frequently. Perhaps all together we keep more distance, do not touch everything we see, touch people or our houses are colder, cleaner, we ventilate more? Everything can be a reason just like certain vaccinations we had or illnesses, the water we drink or drugs we take? As long as we know nothing no one can tell. There are countries doing way better. What makes the difference? During the medieval plague most of those who died were christians. Hygiene was the main difference, perhaps bigger familoes, certain illnesses or weaknesses in those families?

Well, you have a point. The hygiene counts a lot in avoiding the virus also the strong immune system. In our country, so many people do not follow social distancing and safety protocols. Some of them keep complaining to the government and some of them even went to streets to do rallies. Yes, our government is lame at times but having self-discipline is what we are lacking and until now the number of new cases keeps increasing.
