Do you know the real meaning of this word?
Politics has never been my favourite subject. At first, it was boring later I discovered it was a good subject to start a fight about. It's not possible to discuss politics. It always ends in a fight. I no longer wonder how come. Today I know people are not able to see things from a different perspective. We believe in what they told us. It doesn't matter if it makes sense or is lied what they told us is the foundation we built our life, family, community, nation on. If you ask someone what good a government or politician did for the people, the nation remains silent. People need to think hard and long.
Together we know politicians lie, cheat and spend money they cannot afford. Although the government should serve the people and protect them they do the opposite. A secret agenda on how to control the nation (preferable the entire world) is what politicians have in mind. It's true everyone and everything can be bought with money. Being poor sucks and being rich sucks too if it doesn't come with recognition and power, ultimate power.
Fear is still a good method to control people. The fear to be a leper, the fear to lose a job, the fear people gossip about you, the fear of being raped, killed. The powerful and wealthy ones are not untouchable. We've seen how many famous people, VIPs, artists and Nobel prize winners included are spit out by society because of fake news. Fake news spread by a fake government and fake journalists, doctors, specialists who don't care about right or wrong, don't care about others, education, health or the truth but only about their own wallet. A wallet that will be filled if they all play the game and go for that 'better world' ordered by not even 1% of the rich ones.
I wonder how come so few see what is going on. I wonder how come those wealthy people believe they will live forever. Can be Bill Gates or Ophrah Winfrey will in the way Chappie and his Maker were transformed into a new body. What I wonder about too is why so many believe the papers today, why they believe every word said is a conspiracy? The only reason I can think about is we raised two if not three generations of people who blindly follow the bully, who do not question, do not search for answers and don't care about their future. Their future and the truth.
It's like the cauliflower you see in the picture. It's not a forgotten vegetable yet. It's healthy and once we all consumed it during winters. Cooked with nutmeg. Today it's the vegetable that's used instead of mashed potatoes, it's the healthy snack promoted to eat raw while you sip wine and vegetables don't need to be cooked. If it comes to cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, onions, pepper, cucumber and much more raw is fine. For sure it saves time and energy but I wonder if it's healthy after all humans are different from herbivores. Our intestines and teeth are various from cows, sheep and rabbits. We do not consume our own poop (who knows that moment will arrive too to save the planet).
Looking back it's remarkable how fast so many of us changed our behaviour, norms and values without even noticing it celebrations included. Some might call it growing up, others scientific proof or saving the earth by making sacrifices. If it comes to making sacrifices I noticed mainly the same people make them. Those people rarely are the cause of the economical crisis or any other crisis a nation suffers from and has to pay for and will always pay for.
After all these years I start believing each nation does have the government they deserve. Dictatorship takes over as soon as the people lean back and delegated their responsibility to a handful of scrooges. It's the price each one of us has to pay (with our life included) for being naive, being careless and lazy. Nothing will change if we do not stand up, unite and fight together for one strong community. If you ask me it's not too much asked the only thing we need to do is to focus on what we have in common.

Its a shame so few people can see what is really going on, the state gets more and more centralised power, our lives are under surveillance more and more, big tech are working in tandem with governments around the world to control us and most people don't really seem to care!
