Chronological age may not coincide with our biological age. We have ever stopped to think about what age is; some authors describe it as: the time of existence of people, from their birth, until they cease to exist. We agree with the authors; but we have elaborated a definition that points out the following; age should not be characterized by the years of life that a person has, because age is only a number, what really matters is the attitude with which we live. We have known people who being very young have a negative attitude towards the circumstances that are presented in life; or others who even being older behave like teenagers, it all boils down to the age you feel you have, the years needed to express what you think, recognize mistakes and rectify, without fear of failure or the unknown. Consequently, age should not determine how we live the rest of our lives. Sometimes we think that when we reach a certain age, we can no longer do the same activities as individuals younger than us, and we have to understand that we are quite wrong, there are so many stories of people who forgot how old they were, and focused their energies on making their dreams come true, and the most incredible thing is that they succeeded, all thanks to their perseverance, dedication, security, confidence and self-esteem, believed in them, trusted them, and obtained their triumphs. -Image by Susanne Pälmer at Pixabay - #RandomThoughts
