The funny thing is that the restaurant managers never informed Frito-Lay of their new snack, after a year, the President of the company visited them and when he tasted this new form of tortillas he was fascinated and understood the impact that distributing this product would have on the whole country, but something was missing, a name, that's how Doritos was born, according to experts, the name was created by the play on words "Little things of gold", It was not until 1966 when Doritos were distributed in stores, it was so successful that the company Frito-Lay decided to open its own Doritos factory throughout the United States and never thought that in the future they would have to export to many countries around the world.
