Healthy Envy or Bad Envy? Once I was in a self-esteem class in the educational environment, when the teacher made a comment that until today I have not been able to get out of my mind: "There are two types of envy, the healthy and the bad". The most curious thing about this is that several colleagues supported her, but my position was to refute what she mentioned, because envy is envy, there will never be a healthy envy, because when you envy focuses on the triumphs of others, you live the life of others and not yours, well says Mr. Harold Coffin "Envy is the art of counting the blessings of others instead of your own". So we can never normalize envy, much less think that it is healthy, on the contrary it is something harmful and toxic, because envy leads us to act negatively towards others, it leads us to become selfish, evil beings who only want the other to fall, that their success collapses to be equal or worse than us. That is why in the world we see so many failures in work, education, family, love among others, because people do not act for their own motivation, but because he or she has succeeded, then it is about imitating and especially overshadow the work of others just for not admitting that we do not have that ability, but everything in this life has a solution, we can work, study, complement what we have and even develop new skills to get ahead, if we focus only on envy we will be failures, who unfortunately will spend their lives in misery. #ShortArticle #Reflection #RandomThought - DESIGN CREATED IN CANVA.COM
