The Hall of Mosses
The Hall of Mosses is a short hiking trail located in the rainy forest of Hoh in the western state of Washington, USA. The forest is filled with old trees such as maple and spruce, whose branches are covered with a thick layer of moss.
Moss and ferns cover almost all areas of this forest, including living and fallen trees and branches, giving an unreal and fairy-tale dimension to this stunning forest. In addition to moss (which is why it has become very popular), this forest also provides visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the rich vegetation and diverse wildlife.
