Good morning my friends, today the Transfiguration is one of the greatest Christian holidays, accompanied by many folk beliefs, and these are just some of them, some I have heard about and some I have read for the first time, there is a belief that this holiday transforms all nature , that from tomorrow the nights will become cold as well as that today announces the imminent arrival of autumn. It is believed that from today, you should no longer swim in open waters, rivers and the sea. At the Transfiguration, you should never sleep during the day, because whoever sleeps that day, will be transformed, so he will be drowsy and fed all year round. It is not good for someone to cry that day, nor is it good for people to spend the whole day in a tavern - so that they do not get into the habit and become hot-tempered.

In our vicinity and society, we have Naagpanchami from where we believe that day starts to get shorter and longer night and its direction changes from Saraswati pooja.
Does that mean that what is being done today will happen all year round? .Happy holiday.
Hahah, good question for sure, folk beliefs are weird, thank you.
