Good morning my dears. Today it is said "Whoever is baptized with the cross fasts on the Day of the Cross." Today, the Serbian Orthodox Church and we who are its believers celebrate the Winter Day of the Cross, a holiday before the Epiphany, which is marked as a remembrance of the first Christians and when we fast strictly. It is also related to the baptism of Jesus Christ, as well as to the day dedicated to St. John the Baptist, who baptized the Son of God in the Jordan River. Dobro jutro dragi moji. Za današnji dan se kaže" Ko se krstom krsti taj Krstovdan posti." Srpska pravoslavna crkva i mi koji smo njeni vernici danas slavimo zimski Krstovdan, praznik uoči Bogojavljenja, koji se obeležava kao uspomena na prve hrišćane i kada se strogo posti. Vezuje se i za krštenje Isusa Hrista, kao i za dan posvećen Svetom Jovanu Krstitelju, koji je i krstio sina Božijeg u reci Jordanu.
