On this day in the summer of 1610, St. Basil of Ostrog (Stojan Jovanović) was born, Metropolitan of Zahumlje and East Herzegovina. One of the greatest saints of the Serbian Orthodox Church. By the way, the Ostrog Monastery is visited by a huge number of believers from all over the world, not only the Orthodox faith, but also other religions. This year I had the opportunity to visit the Ostrog Monastery where the relics of this saint are exhibited, another proof of God's miracles and thoughts. Na današnji dan leta Gospodnjeg 1610 godine Rođen Sveti Vasilije Ostroški (Stojan Jovanović), mitropolit Zahumski i Istočno-hercegovački. Jedan od najvećih svetaca Srpske pravoslavne crkve. Inače manastir Ostrog posećuje ogroman broj vernika iz celog sveta i to ne samo pravoslavne vere,već i ostalih veroispovesti.Imao sam tu čast da ove godine posetim manastir Ostrog gde su izložene mošti ovoga sveca, još jedan dokaz Božijih čuda i promisli.
