It is not bad to choose to be happy, but I hope you always choose the joy that you know you are not stepping on anyone else and you always choose the joy that you know is pleasing to the Lord. Remember, it is not always right to choose yourself and not always the things that make you happy are right. You would rather always choose to be close to the Lord than choose yourself and just follow the things you want that make you happy, even though you know it can take you away from the Lord. Always choose the Lord because in Him you will find the true Peace and the True pity you are looking for.
