Most Filipinos feel underpaid because (1) they adopted the consumerist first-world lifestyle of their American rolemodels (which is their problem, not society’s); (2) one breadwinner feeds everyone in the family. Referring to the second case, tell all your able family members to get a job and earn a living so you can all bring something to the table. Help members in times of need while teaching them to become self-reliant, too. Stop blaming everything on the system and take individual responsibility for your own decisions. Remember: the agent and structure are mutually constitutive. #MyLife
