Lord, I know I need to give all thanks and praise to You that I have escaped miseries that I'm not even aware could have been. Your grace and mercy have kept me from making choices that would not have been good for me. Lord, I thank You for causing me to escape those places that would harm my spirit or my body. I thank You for protecting me even from myself when I do not recognize a place of danger. Bless all those today, who face some kind of potential threat to their well-being and provide an escape - whether they are driving a car, walking in a dangerous neighborhood, or simply contemplating an act that would not serve them or You.
