The area I visited is dry with lots of pines. Underneath them there were lots of rocks. It’s interesting that pines can grow tall and live for decades even on a very thin layer of soil. Sometimes old pines end up being blown off the base rock by the wind and you can see the roots. Not in this photo, though. This was a forest area. #Photography #Forest #Nature
