Today I'll share some photos of one of my favourite mushrooms - Coprinus comatus - carrying the English names shaggy ink cap, lawyer's wig, or shaggy mane [1]. They have this odd behaviour that soon after the mushroom has opened its cap, its edge starts turning into a dark liquid that sticks everywhere. People say that if this inky mass ends up on clothes or on a basket, you can't ever get rid of it. I prefer not to try. #Fungi #Photography
