Masked mushrooms In this late post, I am sharing several interesting yellow mushrooms that were hiding well among the leaves. I must have walked past many other similar-looking ones well-masked like autumn leaves.

There was some other species with a chubby stalk. I have no idea what the species is. I will define it as cute and slightly funny. Note that it was not me who uprooted them.

The last photo for today is of several brown ones - not too bouncy to touch but they felt cooler than the surroundings. I should sometimes bring a thermometer. I have the impression that some mushrooms are cold to the touch.
