I think part of the reason why I'm getting confused is akin to muscle tetany & the uncanny valley & the focus test l talked about on nc. The two sites are still too similar & my mind keeps telling me that l should already know about how things run here, hence the wall of laziness. But slowly getting responses from people l know from nc to here is inspiring me to give this site a push.

Makes it difficult to mindlessly scroll the way it is set up right now, but I'll probably get used to it. However, beflcause it's no longer mindless, my time spent will be consciously limited unlike with other social media sites that try to trap you for long bouts of time.
What about the earnings? Have you checked how much you've got so far? I think that could be the biggest motivation!
I have no idea! Do you get a separate notification for that? I'm a sucker for engagement so trusting your word that we're earning here & being able to talk to people about ideas & not about other people has been enough motivation for now.
