A lot of things that people say boils down to politics, really are not. However, it is easier, and shallower to think in terms of that. Even the decision-making process is somewhat outsourced to the ingroup. Rather than causing divides, a lot of topics really just make the dividing lines clearer for some. For the rest who look deeper, they see the dots, and the pores on the page. We are not as divided as what a lot of messages being sent out to the world would like to have you think.
