Arrogance is often considered worse than ignorance, because it blinds the individual to their own limits, and closes the door to learning and growth. While ignorance can be filled by acquiring knowledge, arrogance creates a false sense of superiority, which resists change and self-reflection. This stubbornness can lead to bad decisions, and alienation of others. True wisdom lies in humility, recognizing what is not known, and remaining open to new perspectives. Embracing humility promotes continuous improvement, while arrogance blocks it.
