It can effectively drop to zero at some point. Once BTC is dethroned in terms of price and market cap. There is no reason to hold BTC, when the market realises this, the downward spiral in price will start.
I see it that way, too. I think ETH will take the lead. Then the steep fall of BTC begins. BCH has to be strong by then in order not to be carried down.
