BCH is the castle. Projects like SLP tokens, SmartBCH, Atomic Dex are the moat. If BTC gets desperate and decides to increase the block size limit, the infrastructure built on BCH should be the moat protecting BCH. #BitcoinCash

Tbh. I don't think that there will ever be a block size increase on BTC for 3 reasons: 1) It will basically be admitting that we (BCH supporters) were right all the time. 2) The powers that be will not allow the worlds biggest crypto-asset to become useful to a wider audience. The whole highjacking of BTC developers was to prevent that and keep it as a speculative asset that is largely useless and not a threat to state-actors. 3) The way the Bitcoin Core mempool code and all the SegWit-code works, makes it very difficult to scale beyond approx. 16 MB block sizes. The work on optimizing and improving code for scaling that has been made on BCH in node clients like BCHN, Bitcoin Unlimited etc. is completely missing from the Bitcoin Core client and will not be easy to port over. And yes, your own reasons - the better services and smart contract abilities on BCH also makes it far superiour to BTC.
Thanks a lot for the insight!
BTC will never scale.
