Cereals for Breakfast There's a miracle this morning. Tia and Jigz get up early and help me tidy up their room before we go to work/school. We all had our breakfast together. It's dark and cold outside. It was raining sleet a while ago. I just had a vegetable soup that Mum made perfect with fresh crusty that I bought from the shop. Oh, food will keep you happy on a cold night like this. This weather is perfect for getting lazy on the couch with a blanket wrapped around you while wearing fluffy socks and best while having a hot chocolate or any hot drinks to keep you warm. Too bad I can't do that because I will be in an ocean of clothes to fold. 🤣

Homemade Bibingkang Malagkit Good evening/good morning lovely people! Big smile to all of you. Just sharing my first time making bibingkang malagkit or Filipino rice cake. Tia will be 6 years old next month. And every day she keeps asking how many more days till her birthday. Tonight, before she sleeps she said, "Mommy, can you move my birthday to next week? Food Trip We had pizza, chips and beans today. Also had a burger. I laugh at the patties as they shrink as I'm cooking it and ended up almost half the size of the bread. 🤣 I put mozzarella and cheddar also tomatoes and onion. After that we had ice cream. A freezing 3° in the morning here in Northern Ireland. And tomorrow it will be -1 or -2 oh my bones! This may be the reason why Tia won't get up earlier on, it's too cold. It's the end of their SPECtacular 100th day in school today. I'm sure all the kids especially my Jigz and Tia are delighted about their half-term holiday. Saturday Cooking Day off but cooking, washing and cleaning are not part of it lol. And I'm just so frustrated right now because after I cook all these. A while ago at the shop, there was a lovely old couple who takes their time to find their perfect hall runner for their house. Very sad to hear this news. My deepest sympathies to Rainbow's family. My husband and I couldn't believe it. He was missing yesterday and didn't come home to his old parent's house. Yey! Look at our first daffodil for this year already bloomed. 😍 This was planted by me and my late father-in-law 4 years ago and it's just nice to see it bloom every year.
