I have no work. Just a full-time Mum.
Wait, what did I just say? Let me rephrase it. **"I'm a Mom. I work full-time!"** Being a Mom is very underrated. And even once in our life, we've been judgemental to a mother before us ourselves become one or a man before he becomes a husband to his wife. It's such hard work to be a so-called Mom. And you have to keep up with it. The expectation of others is endless. It's exhausting beyond words but what can we do? We are the worlds "**Superwoman.**" Please bear in mind the nine months of caring a child in our womb is no easy job. A man can say he works for the family. Provides for the family by working in 9-5 job. And everyone else says the wife doesn't have work. She just stays in the house. Stay in the house my arse! Excuse me, we don't just stay in the house. And we don't work just 9-5! We are all around the clock 24/7 when needed! And we don't get paid. Do we receive overtime pays? Holiday pays? A weekend off work? Sick leave? Do we? Do you? And people have the nerve to judge us for not having a job. For being ~~just~~ a stay at home Mom. Throwback It's so funny how things get changed dramatically after a single positive pregnancy test. The heels we love becomes a flat shoe. The new bags with cosmetics becomes a bag of nappy and baby wipes. The full makeup face becomes just a messy bun. There's no more hanging out with friends. There's no more privacy because even going to the toilet you have an audience crawling about. And they thought we forget ourselves. We aren't as good looking as we were. "You looking so old!", "You look so haggard.", "Put makeup on!" "You're getting fat!" "You're getting thin!" Tsk, so many remarks. It doesn't help. We don't deserve that harsh words but thanks for saying anyway. Maybe it hurts us but we know why we are like this. It's because we're looking after our family, our home more than us. So before you judge a Mom with a child remember this: **Messy House** Before you complain of how messy their house is. Please remember that she constantly cleaning and you came on the time that her children played around and throw everything on the floor. Trying to undone everything she did earlier on. **Messy Hair** We don't brush our hair much. We don't have time! We just give it a quick bun so that we don't have hair messing about in our face while working. It's like the sleeves that the chef folds when they're about to cook. **Messy Child** Don't tell me that I'm a dirty Mom just because you saw my children dirty clothes or face, once! I let them play. I let them eat their favourite spaghetti even I know that the sauce will be all over the place and face. I let them eat ice cream even most of the ice cream will be on the floor or dripping on their shirt. It's no big deal, I clean it. So don't judge me because you didn't see the clean part. And even you do, you don't. **Messy Self** I can't look after myself because I was busy looking after my family. Dear man, if you see your wife and thought she doesn't look pretty as before, that's the time she needed you the most. Remind her that she is beautiful. Buy her makeup and new clothes to remind her that she also has to look after herself. We also need a reminder. We need attention too. We need to feel what we are doing is appreciated. Show us more loving. If you have free time, give your wife a break and look after your child. Treat her in her favourite restaurant or buy her her favourite food. Get someone to mind the kids and have a movie date for a change. I Help us not change us. Don't cheat on us because we don't look pretty and sexy as before. You don't look for a new woman because the old one doesn't look great anymore. We are great, that's the only thing you should focus on. **Woman, appreciate your own value. Mom, you don't get paid but you're the worlds toughest job! The world owes the light you provide. You are shining bright. So don't let others blow your brightness away.** Man, protect that light. With Love, @tired_momma

Might be it is underrated and the only way it can be rated us if the father of the children start paying you for baby sitting, the housekeeper, laundrywoman, nurse 24/7. Still, as a single mom who worked 60-80 hours a week outside the house next to my own business I think your life is easy. Little children have, should have a regular life if it comes to sleeping, naps, eating and once older they go to school. I was a mom washing diapers, today I only see pampers.
I have a full house to clean, clothes and dishes to wash and mouths to feed. What's our menu for today? This is the hardest part sometimes. Thinking what to cook. Oh well! This is our life 😂
You think I don't have that? Other single or working mothers all have a housekeeper to do that job for them? 😁
I know. We all do. I'm lucky my husband never failed to make me feel appreciated. And he helping me when I need him and making me a drink when I'm tired. We all need a helping hand, right?
You are indeed lucky you find someone who finds it normal. Housekeeping, taking care of and raising children is what both parents/partners should do.
