Hi Noisers, I'm back from my vacation... I had a wonderful time, the weather was beautiful, the temperature is always more pleasant on the mountain than in the city. I really rested and enjoyed my stay in Zlatibor. Every day I went for long walks and I can tell you that I didn't miss the computer or the internet at all 🙂 This interesting sculpture is the work of self-taught artist Miladin Lekić, who creates unusual sculptures from wood using a chainsaw, chisel, hammer and file. He usually uses walnut wood, mulberry and oak for making, and Slavonian oak for furniture. It is set in front of one hotel, on the mountain Zlatibor. His sculptures are life-size and most often adorn ethno villages. This photo, which was taken a few years ago during my visit to this beautiful mountain, reminded me of a beautiful story about a donkey, here is the story: "One day a peasant's donkey fell into a well. He was not injured, but he could not get out from well on his own. So the animal roared loudly for hours, while the peasant waswondered what to do. He had no solution. The peasant had to made a difficult decision, he came to the conclusion that the donkey was already too old, and the well was really dry and deep, and he decided that he should burry the donkey there. It was not worth the effort to get the donkey out of the well. He asked his neighbors to help him bury his donkey. Each of them took a shovel and started throwing earth into the well. The donkey did not know what they were doing for a long time and he moaned even louder than despair. But, to everyone's surprise, after a few shovels full of earth, the donkey got rid of the dirt that was on it. The peasant finally looked at the bottom of the well and marveled at what he saw. With each shovel of earth that fell on his back, the donkey would shake the earth off itself and it would fall under his feet. The well was filled with earth, with each new shovel of earth thrown. The donkey finaly managed to get to the edge of the well, cross the edge and get out of there. " Life will throw a lot of dirt on your back. Especially if you're already in the well. The secret to getting out of a well is to shake that dirt off yourself and rise above it. Each of our problems is a step that leads us upwards. We can get out of the deepest holes if we do not accept defeat. You should never give up, there is always a solution!
