4 reasons to hate the childless
There’s a prevailing strawman that treats all childless adults as antinatalists, the latter being the ideology that having children is unethical. The childless aren’t necessarily antinatalists. Many childless people indeed cherish children so much that they’d rather not have them under bad conditions or with the wrong person. This is a mercy to children. Adding insult to injury, there are those (often with a below-replacement number of children) who feel compelled to hate, shame, and ridicule the childless, which is bizarre and worthy of psychoanalysis. Here are 4 reasons why you should hate the childless: You have a tribal collectivist mindset by which you imagine that it’s everyone’s “duty and responsibility” to have kids to perpetuate your “master” race. This type of socialist collectivism prioritises the “greater good” for the group over the interests of any individual. The arbitrarily defined “group” gets to impose random duties and responsibilities on individuals serving a vague whole. But you don’t mind other races embracing antinatalism. They’re cool. You deep-down regret having kids because you don’t consider them a blessing. For you, having children has been nothing but suffering, and you don’t see them as a blessing. Sure, you say you love them, but you just value them like a trinket, an accessory to go with your lifestyle, a social facilitator, or a bad investment to which you are too emotionally attached to cut off. You can’t appreciate your kids, and you don’t even know why you had them in the first place. And since misery loves company, you want others also to have kids and suffer just like you. You imagine that all parents suffer because that has been your experience, judging by your own standards. You hate childless people for having the “freedom” you wish you had. You basically wish that your children were never born. You wish you had never had your kids, and you don’t care if your kids sense it and doubt their reason for existing, leading to a lifetime of trauma. You’re basically a shitty parent and you want company in your shittiness.**The worst parents in the world tend to hate the childless the most**. The idea of people choosing not to have kids cheapens your idea of life, since you hold it with such little conviction. You aren’t sure about the value you attribute to life, so when you think of the childless (having no children is suicide on a generational level), you begin to doubt the worth you assign to your life. You think: “*If people can discard what I think I value, then I’m not sure how much I should value it*”. This unsettles you; how dare they shake your weakly-held belief in the value of life? You are a moralist idealist pontificating to everyone your preferred ethical dictates that you imagine are somehow objective for… reasons. You are the most despicable example of wokeness and right-wing moralism fused into one. Your moralisms are but an overcompensation for your closeted degeneracy. Some of the worst people I know have had plenty of kids to get a power trip out of abusing them. Some of the best people I know didn’t have children because they weren’t sure they could provide a safe and nurturing environment for children of their own, simply because they cherish children so much. The worst people out there brag about having children to prep them for martyrdom in war or for some petty geopolitical situation that has existed way before their birth, and will exist way after they’ve lived out their short, meaningless, painful lives. To go out of your way to hate on the reluctantly childless says a lot about you.
