Novel idea: A conversation between a child and an adult in the not too far future. The child is interested in their past (our present) and they talk a bit about crypto revolution and the fall of the old monetary system: " - And what is this so called FIAT money? Is it a token for the car maker? - No, no, the countries in the past had governments, who thought its a good idea to have a different kind of money for every country. I don't know if I am yet convinced crypto can or will completely ever overtake fiat. Anything is possible of course. I am just not convinced. Only time will tell of course.
it will take a lot of time. its possible that we will see a solar flare which destroys the whole electronics infrastructure earlier than the world with only crypto
At least in the U.S. the systems that track our money are buried far, far, far deep underground.
dont worry, when a solar flare hits earth it will reach down to the core. we observe flares capable of destroying the whole planet. if one heads to us, even a small one, nothing will protect anything electronic
