Three Thriller Books You Don’t Want To Miss Reading books is one of the most exciting things to do, and I’m genuinely glad that such a beautiful thing exists in the world. I don’t read just any kind of book. There are certain genres I simply don’t enjoy. I love biographies, memoirs, and documentaries, but fiction has my heart. Fiction feels like stepping into a world that doesn’t exist, at least not physically, but becomes real in my imagination. I meet new people who can’t be found in the real world, yet I know them intimately. Somehow, that makes me feel like one special being. It’s funny when you think about it, isn’t it? Anyway, reading helps me escape the real world. When the walls feel like they’re closing in and my mind feels clogged from the hustle and bustle of life, I take solace in books. They spread their pages like wings, like blankets, wrapping me in warmth. It’s almost as if they sing me a lullaby, pushing my worries aside and drifting me through the beautiful world of imagination. I’ve read several books this year, some were wonderful, while others didn’t quite land the way I hoped. But the ones I’m sharing here? I call them the best. The first is Jeanine Cummins’ *American Dirt*. This book had me curled up in bed for days, savoring each page with care because I was afraid to finish it. It’s such an exquisite piece of art that a copy deserves a spot in a museum. The story and its emotions still linger in my memory. The second is John Marrs’ *Keep It In The Family*, a gripping read full of unexpected twists. It doesn’t give you the kind of resolution you want, but that’s part of its brilliance. It leaves you thrilled, speechless even. And finally, Riley Sager’s *Lock Every Door.* Just when she thought she’d landed the perfect job, boom! Trouble comes knocking. And it doesn’t come dressed in white, but in dark, sinister colors. Check them out and thank me later.
