Like some other Noise users, I took part in a "small experiment" earlier and earned some BCH for assessing 50 posts. It's trickier than it sounds - a post might be unique and high quality, but still not interesting to me personally. At least 10 of those 50 posts had 'pets' as the subject, for example. I'm here for the cryptos, not the critters! #RandomThoughts

Everyone have different topics to be interested in. Cryptos might interest you and others are interested on pets but others to life lesson. We rated according to our own level of interest.
You are right. Many posts I thought are just neutral and since they were well written and not interesting, I could not rate them bad
