I followed my own advice and bought some AMPL last week when the market cap was around $250m. The plan is to sell it when the market cap gets back above $500m, hopefully (because of the way that AMPL works) doubling my investment... #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

I'm a bit surprised to see the Uptrennd website still alive. Yesterday was supposed to be its last day before it got merged into Trodl. I suppose it's an extra chance to take a copy of all your posts if you haven't done so already! https://www.uptrennd.com/ #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

Had a successful DOGE withdrawal from the doge.4miner.me faucet - my first since the price of DOGE shot up a couple of months ago and the faucet rewards decreased as a result! But it's still free money, so I'm not complaining. https://go.4miner.me/meDGqKYw #Faucet

@technicallyproduct

There's a new project on CoinMarketCap Earn - PlasmaFinance (PPAY). Actually this project looks like a great on-ramp to DeFi (which I have always found a bit confusing) and something I plan on investigating further. https://coinmarketcap.com/earn/

@technicallyproduct

That's me signed up to the Brave Search waitlist (thanks to Xuiver for telling me about it). The entry form said to enter my full country name so I put 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland' - hopefully they don't think I was being facetious! #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

Ooh, I've received 1 BSW (Biswap token) free on BetFury! It's immediately gone in the 'Biswap Box', which will turn it into 2 BSW in 30 days. And here I was moaning that I never benefit from any airdrops... Anyway, if you use BetFury too then it might be worth taking a look before the Biswap box is full.

@technicallyproduct

I started collecting 'Candies' on CoinGecko in order to get a free swag pack (t-shirt, notebook, lanyard and face mask). But by the time I had enough Candies, the swag pack was no longer available! I am still collecting my Candies every day for no particular reason. Hopefully something good will get added to the list of Rewards in future... #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

So that's it, Uptrennd has finally gone. I am told "You can access your old Uptrennd 1UP balance through the Trodl platform" - though my 1UP are yet to appear in Trodl... #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

One good thing about having a long-term plan is that you can quantify a dip in time rather than money. So instead of 'this dip cost me $X', it's 'this dip set me back X days'. Of course, if your plan is really good, you'll factor in the dips and then they won't set you back at all... #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

Huge news from GoodDollar - as of next week, you will be able to use your GoodDollars through the Shopping.io platform to shop at Amazon, Walmart, and other stores. I've been claiming this universal digital income each day since last year, so I'm very happy to see it gain utility. Join today and get a 50G$ reward: https://wallet.gooddollar.org?inviteCode=43rTBGTS8B

@technicallyproduct

Does anyone else use the sMiles app? It's a good way to make a few BTC sats (Lightning) just from walking around - which you would probably do anyway. The daily max payout has just increased from 21 to 42 sats, so that's nice. You are welcome to use my referral code jamesdanielclark176 at https://www.smilesbitcoin.com #Bitcoin

@technicallyproduct

Got another FLR airdrop from PipeFlare. 0.004% of 300,000 is a princely... 12 FLR! I have nearly 20,000 of them already, and they aren't worth anything (yet), so another 12 doesn't make a blind bit of difference either way. #Airdrops

@technicallyproduct

Every day, I claim BTC sats on the BetFury faucet then convert them into BFG tokens by gambling them away! Who else does this? And if you do, what game do you prefer? The Dice game seems to give me the best odds (plus it's quick), but Plinko is also good. #Faucet

@technicallyproduct

Happy Celsius Rewards Day! I earn CEL every week, but am struggling to get my CEL holdings above 2% of my total balance. The reason? All the BCH I earn from Noise.cash and pay into my Celsius account! Really I should bite the bullet and just buy some more CEL. #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

This airdrop for MEGATOKEN made me laugh. If they give away 10 billion tokens to everyone who participates, I think the only thing that will be MEGA is the supply... #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

This is the funniest CAPTCHA I've seen for a while. I didn't know that snacks wore dresses! #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

If anyone is interested in seeing market cap for crypto as a whole, rather than just for individual coins, then https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/ is a good place to start. Why is this useful? Well, total market cap has fallen around 43% in the past month (taking both Bitcoin and alts into account). So if your portfolio is down by less than this, I reckon you're in a really strong position. #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

Does anyone else here use the Fold app? Many of the offers are US-only so I can't take advantage of them, but the daily wheel spin still works. And even if I'm unlucky on that, I get 250 sats (Lightning) as a weekly bonus. Just a shame the minimum withdrawal is 50,000 sats... https://use.foldapp.com/r/MKHRVW7L

@technicallyproduct

Wahoo, I've reached 0.6 BCH! Before long I should have two thirds of a BCH... Thanks, Noise.cash (and the bear). #Club1Bch

@technicallyproduct

Yesterday I managed to claim my 1UP in Trodl. I know they're not worth a lot, but it would have been a shame to lose them! (The key is to register on Trodl with the same email address you used on Uptrennd - once you are logged in, you should see a button to claim your 1UP.) #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

Oh nice, it's BAT payout day from Brave. And I will say one thing for Uphold - they do love a decimal place... #BraveBrowser

@technicallyproduct

Everything seems to be working badly today, if at all. BetFury wouldn't let me log in, Lbry is going slow, COIN doesn't want me to scan my SentinelX, and StormGain's 'miner' is refusing to co-operate. Let's hope for a better day tomorrow... #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

Today has got off to a better start - I've just earned my $3 of AMP on Coinbase Earn. This project sounds very promising as it seeks to address a problem that will only become more important as crypto adoption continues.

@technicallyproduct

It looks like Publish0x is still offering a 10% bonus on withdrawals to KuCoin. I thought this was an introductory bonus and ended a couple of months ago! Before I make a withdrawal, can any other Publish0x users confirm whether the bonus is still active? #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

After six months of trying, I finally hit my first big geomine in the Coin app! It's something that just happens randomly when you are geomining - for some reason I thought the mine would appear on the map and whoever got there first could claim it. Guess I was wrong... https://coin.onelink.me/ePJg/7ca16c04 #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

Happy Celsius Rewards Day! Sadly this was my smallest reward since 26 April. I feel like I'm in a good position for when the market picks up though, thanks to my BCH earnings from Noise.cash. #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

Not a great week for anyone staking on BetFury in the hope of earning BTC. The total number of BFG tokens being staked is increasingly rapidly, whereas the amount of BTC being distributed is falling. The result: significantly fewer sats paid out per 100K BFG tokens. I guess some of this is because of the recent rise in the value of BTC, as distribution of other currencies (eg Tron) has held up better. #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

The $3 of AMP I got at the weekend from Coinbase Earn is already worth $4.43. Very nice, keep going! #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

Ooh, I've been selected to "test-drive" Brave Search. That didn't take long - I applied less than two weeks ago! Let's go... #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

Good to see some positive movement on the AMPL market cap at long last. Looks like it bottomed out around $205m. I bought back in to AMPL at around $250m, which is not too bad timing as we should return to that level pretty soon (we're at $233m already). #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

A new campaign has gone live on CoinMarketCap Earn today! This time you can earn REVV, an ERC-20 token that acts as currency for racing game dApps. But if you're thinking about entering, then I would do it soon as it is 'first come, first served'... https://coinmarketcap.com/earn/

@technicallyproduct

BetFury's BFG token is now listed on the Biswap exchange! If I am understanding this correctly, the current price is $0.19 - significantly higher than I was expecting... #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

BetFury's BFG token was listed on an exchange yesterday, and now it is limiting the number if withdrawals... apparently this is because each withdrawal is manually audited, but equally it could be in BetFury's interest to control supply to the exchange (helping to boost the token price as a result). #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

The UK's financial regulator published a big survey into crypto adoption and attitudes today. Apparently 78% of people here in the UK have heard of crypto, but less than 5% actually hold some. The median reported holding is just is £300 ($418). It's always nice to know that you are ahead of the curve! Here's the research publication if you are interested: https://www.fca.org.uk/publications/research/research-note-cryptoasset-consumer-research-2021#lf-chapter-id-summary…

@technicallyproduct

Not a very good time for LBRY credit (LBC) holders. The token is down 72% in the last 30 days! As a holder myself, I think I'll focus on the token's utility for a while and stake my credits against some decent videos. #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

I'm getting a lot of server errors when trying to upload images to Noise.cash at the moment. Although ironically, my screengrab of the error message seems to have uploaded OK! #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

Oh, the Fold app offers up to 2% back (in BTC Lightning sats) on any purchases made in the Nintendo eShop. Sadly it's the US eShop only - but I know it's possible to change regions, so I reckon anyone could make use of this. https://use.foldapp.com/r/MKHRVW7L

@technicallyproduct

That NANO faucet I wrote about yesterday wasn't so great after all. It paid out the first four times OK but now just says "You've received Nano recently, please wait 5 minutes!" I've left it a day and it's still not working, so that's a pretty long five minutes. https://freenanofaucet.com/faucet

@technicallyproduct

OK, I just withdrew my first (non-free) box on BetFury! I turned 0.003 into 0.006 BNB over the course of 30 days. Meanwhile, my Biswap box has another 12 days until withdrawal. #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

Well, this is frustrating. I've been collecting 'Candies' on the KuCoin app every day in the hope of redeeming them for rewards. After two months, I finally have enough Candies - but no rewards are available! I thought that "Stock: 0" referred to the amount I own, not the amount available... #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

So Uphold now has a 'limit orders' feature so you can execute trades at a pre-defined price. I suspect a lot of people only have an Uphold account because of Brave, and don't count it among their favourite exchanges or really give it much thought. But behind the scenes, Uphold has been making lots of improvements. It might be worth taking another look? #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

It's Celsius Rewards Day! Somehow I doubt this small payment is going to make up for another 6% drop in my portfolio value, but it's some good news on an otherwise red day so I won't complain. #Cryptocurrencies

@technicallyproduct

That's it, I'm officially two thirds of the way to joining #Club1BCH! It's starting to feel like an achievable target now...

@technicallyproduct

I've never really held that much BTC, but at the moment it is faring better than most of my alts and so is becoming increasingly important in my portfolio. It now holds my sixth spot (excluding stablecoins), and I can see it moving up to fourth eventually. It's very unlikely though to ever overthrow my top trio of BCH, ETH and BAT. #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

Excellent bounce for CELO today! It's up 26% over the past 24 hours, better than anything else in my portfolio. It's just nice to see a bit of green to be honest. #CryptoTrading

@technicallyproduct

Brave Search is now available in beta to everyone - no need to apply any more! You don't even need Brave to check it out, as you can just go to https://search.brave.com/ in any browser. And I guess this means we can now talk about Brave Search openly. So... what are your impressions of it? #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

If you use the doge.4miner.me faucet, you should also use doge.faucetspool.com. It's pretty much identical but seems to accumulate DOGE a little quicker. I've just had my first payout (to Binance) so it's definitely legit. https://go.4miner.me/DLqax6 #Faucet

@technicallyproduct

I've just earned my first BTT (BitTorrent) with BetFury! Apart from it having a tiny price and a massive supply, I don't know much about this token. I vaguely remember BitTorrent is something to with file sharing. Can anyone shed any light on it for me? #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

Tricky CAPTCHA - I don't know if this dress is 'long sleeve' or 'sleeveless' as it has one of each! Maybe I'll just go with 'unsure'... #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

ZenHub is giving away $100 of ZEN in a competition. Entering is easy - perform one or more tasks such as following Horizen on Twitter, signing up for the email newsletter, or visiting the Horizen store. To find out more, go to https://getzen.cash and click on 'Community Giveaway'. Best of luck!

@technicallyproduct

One good thing about the bear market is that a lot of faucets are increasing their payouts. Monero Faucet, for example, has just increased its minimum hourly claim from 0.0000013 to 0.000002 XMR. I'm sure I'll see the benefit in the longer term. http://monerofaucet.info/ #Faucet

@technicallyproduct

Coinbase Earn is playing up for me again, giving me the 'spinning wheel' when I answer the quiz to earn some BOND. Ho hum, hopefully it will work later...

@technicallyproduct

'2001: A Crypto Odyssey'... Thank you to everyone who has subscribed to me. I really feel like I'm part of a community here, and I've definitely learning as much as I'm sharing (if not more). #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

Publish0x is no longer tipping in ETH - and any ETH you already have on the system will get converted into AMPL in a couple of days. If you don't want that to happen, you should withdraw your ETH from Publish0x - and the deadline for making the withdrawal request is 6pm UTC today (so you've got less than an hour and a half!). #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

Great, my ETH withdrawal from Publish0x has gone through safely! I know it's only worth about $80 USD, but this is probably the most crypto I've moved in one go (sad to say I'm no whale). #Cryptocurrency

@technicallyproduct

I reckon the Telegram website should make use of QR codes. I've lost count of the number of times I've been directed to a web page like this, which is useless on desktop. I then have to open the Telegram app on my mobile and try to find the same channel/group/bot/whatever, without accidentally falling for a scam with a similar name. If the Telegram website showed a QR code, I could just scan it with my phone and get taken straight to the right place. #RandomThoughts

@technicallyproduct

OK, I'm now three quarters of the way towards joining #Club1BCH! If the market continues to be bearish (and Noise.cash continues to be generous), I reckon I could get there by the end of July.

@technicallyproduct

Wow, staking rewards (in BTC) have been dropping like a stone on BetFury. From 4,590 sats per 100k BFG at the start of June, down to 2,221 by the end of June. That's the daily payout by the way. My BFG holdings have increased by 6% over the course of the month, but that's not much use if staking rewards fall by more than 50% during the same period. #Cryptocurrency
