Made another small but profitable buy trade on BCH overnight. Very similar to my last trade actually. Perhaps I could have held on a bit longer but 'if in doubt, cash out' #CryptoTrading
@technicallyproduct in March 2021
My top five crypto earning services in February were: 1. Celsius 2. Noise.cash 3. Presearch 4. Brave (Rewards and Creators) 5. LBRY What were yours?
Thank you to the 12 people who signed up to the DOGE faucet I mentioned a few days ago! I don't think I've ever had 12 referrals on anything before. I hope you all earn lots of DOGE. https://go.4miner.me/meDGqKYw #Faucet
Coinbase Earn is popular, but fewer people know that CoinMarketCap runs a similar scheme in association with Binance. Learn about a token, take a short quiz, and earn some of that token. I've just been paid 10 GRT for a quiz I did a little while back. https://coinmarketcap.com/earn/ #Cryptocurrency
So the BetFury x2 free BNB box comes to an end in less than 15 minutes. I wonder whether it will be replaced by a x1 BNB box or something completely different? And I now have 0.003 BNB, so I managed to continue accumulating $0.10 a day from this box! Though not enough to invest 0.005 BNB in the 'Digital Box' and get a 100% return in a month... #Faucet
BAT is absolutely pumping at the moment, presumably because of the news that Brave is moving into search (https://cointelegraph.com/news/brave-acquires-search-engine-in-bid-to-offer-alternative-to-google-search). That's great, but I already love Presearch - so it's left me a little torn... #Cryptocurrency
My crypto portfolio is looking a bit unusual at the moment. The top five coins (by US dollar value) are: 1. BAT 2. BCH 3. ETH 4. COMP 5. SAND! It's unusual not to see either BTC or PRE up there. What's in your portfolio? #Cryptocurrency
COIN users: I mentioned a while ago that the minimum redeem to XYO has increased from 10,000 to 50,000 COIN. Apparently that includes 10,000 COIN in gas fees! Seeing as I earn about 5,000 COIN a month, that means it takes me two months just to pay gas. Sigh... Info from the very useful https://cointoxyo.pythonanywhere.com/ #Cryptocurrency
Hmm, saw I had 60 DOGE in PipeFlare so I finally added my wallet address to move them to Binance. Four hours later - no DOGE in PipeFlare, no DOGE in Binance. Nothing on the blockchain explorer either. Should I be worried? #Cryptocurrency
Just got paid 500 sats (BTC) for this very nice Microlancer task: "Join Facebook Group - Find a Crypto Job" https://microlancer.io/task/view/1940 #Earn
So I've just earned my second DOGE at https://go.4miner.me/meDGqKYw. This one took me a week and no one is going to get rich earning one DOGE a week! But it's a faucet that definitely pays out. #Cryptocurrency
No boxes available on BetFury (apart from the free boxes) - first time I've seen that! I wonder what's coming next? #Faucet
Started this morning with a decent faucet roll. I'm only using freebitco.in for the big rolls now as I'm never going to get to minimum withdrawal with 1 sat claims... For me, faucets are a perfect example of the 'sunk cost fallacy': https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunk_cost#Fallacy_effect #Faucet
I converted some USDT to AMPL yesterday as I'm expecting an increase in AMPL market cap. Disregard the two recent spikes and there's a definite underlying upward trend - I'll hold until the next spike ($600m+) and then convert back to USDT. #CryptoTrading
Ooh, I now have 500 followers! That's a nice way to end the week, thanks everyone. I think it took me two years to get to the same point on Twitter, and only two months here on Noise.cash.
It's definitely worth doing the 'earn as you learn' crypto schemes. For example I earned $10 of SAND on CoinMarketCap Earn back in December. It's 10x since then, so my holding is now just over $100. Not bad for 10 minutes' work! #Cryptocurrency
Received a nice payout from Brave today. Not the most BAT I've ever earned in a month, but the current high price ($0.72 per BAT) makes it my biggest payout in dollar terms for quite a while. #BraveBrowser
So my modest little crypto portfolio has just hit a new ATH. It's all greens across the board apart from XYO (which is a law unto itself anyway). How's your crypto doing?
Did I mention that I received my DOGE payout from PipeFlare in the end? It came through safely after a few days. PipeFlare's DOGE faucet was empty and I had to wait for it to be refilled. No payouts when the faucet is empty, apparently. #Dogecoin
I've just started getting these nice daily referral rewards in the COIN app. Apparently the scheme pays out 10%, so my referrals must be earning 500-600 COIN a day between them. Best of luck to them! https://coin.onelink.me/ePJg/7ca16c04 #Earn
PRE has been pumping hard this week - and today in particular. I'm surprised because I thought Brave's decision to move into search might take the wind out of Presearch's sails. But I'm not complaining! #Cryptocurrency
PipeFlare is back up again now after being down all of yesterday. And this is new: "Earn Up to 10% APY Staking Your Flare Tokens". Well, I'm not doing anything else with them so I might as well! Hopefully they will have some value (to me) at some point in the future. #Faucet
This week I've been testing out Binance flexible savings. It gives me 5% APY on my DOGE, interest paid daily. It's very straightforward to set up too, if you're already holding your coins with Binance. Not all the interest rates are that high (0.44% on BAT, anyone?) but a good low-commitment option - and might be useful for diversifying your savings platforms. #Earn
Oh lovely, another 10 free USDT from StormGain's 'cloud miner'. It can only be used for trading, but hopefully I'll make a profit (or at least have some fun making a loss). #CryptoTrading
Well, this is a very different type of CAPTCHA! It's actually quicker than clicking all the planes, trains etc. But I might get an odd look from my wife if she walks in. #Faucet
I don't mind GlobalHive as far as faucets go - there's no minimum payout and it's a daily claim. But I do wish they could spell 'browser' correctly on the homepage... #Faucet
Ooh, COIN are now doing international physical item redeems. So even if you are outside the US, you can now redeem your COIN tokens for physical stuff: an iPad, a Nintendo Switch, or maybe a COIN-branded cap. To be honest I thought they were probably already doing this, as they had no problem posting my SentinelX NFC to me here in the UK! And I'll probably stick to redeeming my COIN tokens for XYO, thank you. But it's good to know. https://coin.onelink.me/ePJg/7ca16c04
Wow, I've just spotted that the 'Giveaways' Chamber has more than 7,500 people in it (https://noise.cash/n/giveaways)! It would be nice if you could see at a glance how many people are in each Chamber when you 'Search Chambers'. What Chambers do you use the most?
I've reached the minimum withdrawal for BNB on BetFury: 0.005, or about $1.37. There's a 0.001 withdrawal fee though, so I need to work out how often I want to move it out of BetFury to somewhere like Trust. Not sure I want to lose 20%, but equally I don't want to have too much BNB sitting in BetFury in case they make unexpected changes. #Cryptocurrency
Interesting announcement from Pi today. They are still "committed to launching the Pi Mainnet by the end of the year" and will launch Pi Wallet connecting with Pi Testnet on 31 March. Actually the Pi core team seem very active generally, and my confidence in this project is (slowly) growing. #Cryptocurrency
Happy Celsius Rewards Day! There's only one thing better than earning CEL on your BCH, and that's earning CEL on your CEL that you've already earned from your BCH. #Cryptocurrency
Sometimes when I go to visit PipeFlare, I accidentally type in 'PopeFlare' instead. Is the Pope into crypto? He has plenty of cardinali but does he have cardano too? #Cryptocurrency
Pretty soon I'll make my first withdrawal of $FARM from Publish0x. I'm thinking about staking it on https://harvest.finance. It looks pretty straightforward but I'm sure there's a catch - anyone got any advice for me? #Cryptocurrency
I talked to someone last year whose crypto strategy was to amass a million BAT by the time it hit one dollar. At the time, with BAT around $0.20, I thought he had plenty of time. Well, BAT hit an ATH of $1.14 an hour ago - I wonder how close he got to his million BAT?
So I've followed this guide on Publish0x to claim 0.0001 LTC a day from a rather dubious faucet/miner. I can confirm it does work, but do it at your own risk: https://www.publish0x.com/faucets-ptcs-and-other-legit-crypto-generators/litecoin-miner-earn-00001-ltc-daily-in-autopilot-but-do-not-xpnvgol?a=8mepYAP2aM #Faucet
In January I set myself a new year's resolution to double the value of my crypto holdings (in fiat terms) by the end of the year. I've just achieved it - on 17 March! Really it's because of BAT. With the price currently above $1.30, it accounts for more than a quarter of my portfolio. I know it may come crashing down at any moment, but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.
Horizen are running a $500 giveaway to celebrate their move into DeFi and the upcoming launch of the ERC20 token 'stZEN'. It's pretty easy to enter (though I realize I'm less likely to win as a result of promoting it!): https://gleam.io/competitions/bmLXm-stakehound-ann-giveaway #Giveaways
Just got my first referral DOGE from https://go.4miner.me/meDGqKYw (as opposed to DOGE from faucet claims). Thanks folks, hope you're enjoying your DOGE. #Faucet
Just tried out Blockreward.app and its #FreeCryptoFridays for the first time. I earned 19b, which is about $0.019 to be redeemed in the crypto of my choice. I might make a dollar by this time next year! https://blockreward.app/?r=455ee2eecd #Giveaways
Not really crypto-related, but PayPal gave me £5 today just for downloading the app! If PayPal emails you about an incentive like this, it's definitely worth doing (once you've checked it isn't a scammer pretending to be PayPal). #Earn
Because I'm relatively new to crypto, and prefer earning to investing, my portfolio has always consisted almost entirely of alts rather than BTC. But I'm gradually picking up sats and now have my first 100,000 (0.001BTC)! Granted, half of these are on the Lightning network so you might not see them as 'real' Bitcoin...
What an annoying dialogue box on Facebook. You click 'Continue' to continue the cancel, or 'Cancel' to cancel the cancel (and continue). You don't get this rubbish on Noise.cash! #SocialMedia
Uphold has announced it will support staking of Ethereum (ETH), Polkadot (DOT), Solana (SOL) and Cosmos (ATOM). I'm pleased about this as do have some ETH with Uphold from back in the day. I didn't really want to pay the fee to move it. https://blog.uphold.com/ethereum-2-0-staking #Cryptocurrency
I'm testing out Dogeland.io after reading about it on Publish0x. It's probably a ponzi/scam and not something I would invest in, but I'm interested to see if it pays out. https://www.publish0x.com/mind-puzzle/dogeland-another-copy-game-or-something-different-xlynjwm?a=8mepYAP2aM
So Coin increased the minimum XYO redemption to 50,000 COIN (up from 10,000). Although that's annoying, the price of XYO has done nothing but shoot up ever since. Causation or just correlation? #Cryptocurrency
Went long on BCH on Sunday as usual. It was *technically* a profitable trade! Good job I closed it when I did though, as it's taken a tumble since then. #CryptoTrading
So my portfolio is pretty red right now but there are a few green shoots. 1UP is up 115% on yesterday and BCHA is up 79%. It's nice to have some smaller coins (outside top 100 by market cap anyway) because they often go against the flow.
So it happened - I now have more followers here than on Twitter! (You can find me at https://twitter.com/technicallyprod where I talk about digital marketing a lot and crypto a little)
If you were getting rate limited on Litecoin Miner earlier today then it should be working again now. #Faucet
Went long on ETH last night. Made a very small profit. Glad I closed the trade when I did, as it has plummeted ever since! #Cryptocurrency
So CEL got listed on Bitfinex at midday today. Its price since then has gone $4.70 - $4.46 - $4.78 - $4.49 and now back to $4.70 again! #Cryptocurrency
I should have held my nerve a bit longer with this BCH buy, but I was getting a bit antsy after eight hours and hardly any movement. At least it was technically a profitable trade. Can't believe that BCH is nearly back up to $500 now! #CryptoTrading
Opened my first Dogeland weekly gift box today - got 15 DOGE. As I'm 'earning' 2 DOGE a day, this knocks a week off the time it will take me to get to the 250-DOGE minimum withdrawal (assuming the site pays out). https://dogeland.io/reg/zuYvL5Gb
OK, I am now a third of the way to joining Club1BCH! Thanks everyone. What's the next milestone for me - 0.4 BCH I guess? #Club1Bch
Heads up - there's a new reward available on Coinbase Earn. Earn $6 of UMA by watching three short videos and answering three questions. #Earn
Just created a KuCoin account in preparation for withdrawing my ETH and AMPL from Publish0x. Any withdrawals from Publish0x to KuCoin in the next two weeks get a 10% top-up! https://www.publish0x.com/publish0x-tutorials/withdrawals-to-kucoin-enabled-get-10-percent-extra-on-your-a-xqkzzdp?a=8mepYAP2aM #Cryptocurrency
I like the look of this tower defense game 'Fortified', which is being advertised on Brave quite a lot. The problem I have (not just with Fortified, but generally) is that I'm not going to invest in game assets based on screenshots alone. And yet all the best perks are available to players who invest before a game has even launched. It's a risk! #Gaming
I've just written an article on Publish0x looking at what the search engine Presearch can do to appeal to online publishers. Check it out! 'Presearch for publishers - a viable alternative to Google?' https://www.publish0x.com/technically-crypto/presearch-for-publishers-a-viable-alternative-to-google-xkywkww?a=8mepYAP2aM
Yesterday I published a new article on Publish0x. So far I've made more by sharing the link here on Noise.cash than I have on Publish0x itself! I think that says quite a lot about both platforms. Here's the article if you missed it: 'Presearch for publishers - a viable alternative to Google?' https://www.publish0x.com/technically-crypto/presearch-for-publishers-a-viable-alternative-to-google-xkywkww?a=8mepYAP2aM
I've just been reading about the SEC's complaint against LBRY. I can't see how the SEC can claim that "LBRY Credits lack sufficient utility and are not purchased for reasons of usage". So I thought it was worth sharing this: https://helplbrysavecrypto.com/
This morning I'm working through the 'Binance Masterclass'. It's a 70-minute video, mainly covering how to use the Binance platform. There's a short exam and a prize fund for people who do well in that (though it may be restricted to UK participants - I'm not sure). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K16of7bXpDY #CryptoTrading
OK, I've completed the Binance Masterclass examination! Hopefully I'll get a good result and a share of the £2,000 BNB reward. If you're interested then check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K16of7bXpDY (no referral) #Cryptocurrency
So the SAND NFT Marketplace is now live in beta (https://www.sandbox.game/en/shop/). I'm sure it's no coincidence that the price of SAND has continued to rise. But I'm amazed that the small amount of SAND I got through CoinMarketCap Earn is now worth around $200! It's got to be my first 20x coin. #NfTs
I got 13 FLR in a PipeFlare airdrop today. The daily faucet claim is much more than that, so it's nothing to get too excited about. But I quite like that PipeFlare calls it a 'FlareDrop'! #Faucet
