I finally made it!! After countless days (I know, only exaggerating a bit) of getting stuck in Silver league. Today was the first time I was able to enter Gold League! Something is different, still: Besides heavy renting of (nominal) card power today I also needed to rent a lot of better cards to be able to compete! Along with increased renting prices it really costs me a lot (in terms of DEC) to stay competitive! Besides: The question shown in the image is a joke! You are warned that you will meet much harder enemies. This warning does not consider that hard enemies became residents of Silver league, this season! #Splinterlands

I'm hoping more players entering the game will make the leagues more balanced. It is quite easy to climb with a 'low-level collection' to higher leagues right now with a little bit of skill. It does cause quite some frustration being matched with higher-level opponents game after game which is one of the reasons I stay in a league most of the time where I know I am competitive in most matches.
