"Who among you is fasting today?"

One day, after the Zuhr prayer, the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked the Companions: "Who among you is fasting today?" Abu Bakr replied: O Messenger of Allah! I am fasting today. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked again, “Who among you has given charity to the poor and needy today? Abu Bakr replied: O Nabi Allah! I have given alms to the poor and needy today. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked again: "Which of you went to see a sick person today?" Abu Bakr (ra) stood up and said- O Messenger of Allah! Today I went to see a sick brother. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked again: "Who among you has participated in the janaza today?" Abu Bakr replied, "O Messenger of Allah! I have participated in the janaza." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked for the fifth time - Today is yours Who has compromised between the two Muslim brothers? " Abu Bakr (ra) replied-O Messenger of Allah! I have compromised. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The reward of the one who does the deeds mentioned is nothing but Paradise. (Muslim-1026) Yes! Such was Abu Bakr Radiyallahu Anhu wa Radu Anhu. May Allah grant us all the tawfiq to do those good deeds more and more.
