December started quite slow for me, here on Noise at least ... because otherwise, I'm jam-packed with todo lists and... well, tasks :D But a lovely Noise filled with memories is a must at this time of the week - oh, yes... you're right! - so in today's #TBT I choose a rock-solid, interesting photo story. Or is it Rock-Solid? The year is 2016. Winter is cold as chilly, so doing a great job... wether-wise. Only one solution for somebody, who doesn't want to tap on the ice-cold streets: Plan, Fly, Malta. "You have to be quick because the Sunset down there is still early" (I planned my photo-schedule on the plane). I might show some other shots if you're interested, but for now a bittersweet Noisecard about one of Malta's favourite landmarks, the 50 metres high arch: the Azure Window ( Tieqa tad-Dwejra in Maltese ). About 4 months later as I photographed in the warm Sunset (two whole days were cloudy) at the beginning of the next year (March, 2017), it collapsed by a massive storm. It was a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a rich flora (example at the end of this TBT Noise) and marine fauna. The site is still a remarkable one with the Fungus Rock and the unique rocky landscape. A powerful lesson: let's observe something beautiful every day ... even a tree, a flower, as part of Nature... we never know when or which part of the Creation will be edited. Have a great Month and I wish you all the best moments and memories, Noisey Friends! See you around! >D
