I'm still in the holiday mood, that is why I'm still didn't refreshed my Noise Graphics for ver #2022, but Moonday I'll kick in the new colours for sure. Oh, yes and I'm boosted & motivated enough to Noise every day... but let's just focus on today and January ... you know: step by step! Speaking about days! >>> Today is the birthday of Isaac Asimov - one of the most productive and best SciFi writers. I love his stories (I Robot, Foundation(s)) also I love his scientific works like "Guide to Earth and Space"not to mention the many anthologies edited by him. He presented so many talented writers in these collections, many of them with stunning ideas - which aged well. January will be dedicated to Asimov's legacy (from my POV) so I'll pop in with more Noise (if you are interested in specifics, just tell me). More on this on #SciFriday! Yes, it is true, I know him. He is of Russian origin. I complain that I read him Gold's book, and a robot book, I hope it is true. This was 15 years ago.
Yes, you're right! His story "Gold" won a Hugo Award (the premier award in Science Fiction literature) also a great example of anthologies he wrote or edited. And spot on with the robots... he wrote the rules of robots and soo many stories around this concept. But I'm super happy to bring some themes in this month. Yes, I love reading a lot. Thank you for reminding me of it. I used to love science fiction a lot. Now I love romance novels a bit. I love Elif Shafak and Guillaume Miso are my two favorites. Have you read any of them?
Reading is the best :D I heard about Shafak (I use to run through the new book reviews from time to time) but no, I'm reading most of the time non fiction and SciFi... but I might read some :D I stopped with my SciFi sketches, but take a look if you're interested. The series idea is that I use my photos and I write a short story using my photography as illustration.
