COVID 19 UPDATE: Department of Health detects its 3rd Omicron Variant. It is a 36 year old male who is unvaccinated who arrived from Qatar on November 28 and had a travel history in Egypt. He was quarantined in Cebu last Dec 4 and tested positive. He was sent home to Cavite after quarantine. Upon knowing that He is positive with omicron variant, the asymtomatic patient was re-swabbed & tested negative yesterday. All of us should take extra precaution since the threat of Omicron Variant is still here. In United Kingdom today, they have added new 10000 cases of Omicron variant and lockdown is implemented there. We should not be complacent, get vaccinated and continue practicing the minimum health standards for our protection...
