Paritutu Rock, New Plymouth, NZ This is the remains of an old volcanic crater, actually, pretty much the whole north island of New Zealand is a volcanic crater! Lake Taupo (biggest lake in NZ) is a massive crater and there has been some tremors recently… anyway, we won’t go there now! This was such a beautiful sight and the weather was perfect :) I didn’t have the time to climb it but I will do next time I go!:) Peace and love to you all!:)
