Stick insect! At the gorge :) Have you ever seen a stick insect before? These are seen quite often here in the north island of New Zealand. It was interesting to see, and hard to spot! There’s other bugs I’ve taken some photos of before that have a similar appearance. It’s a great defensive mechanism for these insects as they’re passed off as a twig :) Happy Sunday to you all :) peace and love!

They are good at camouflage against their predators, they can easily hide due to their thin body and color, I also love that one and also grasshoppers that can easily camouflage at grasses.❤❤
