' Cambridge Center for Alternative Finance (CCAF), Bitcoin currently consumes around 110 Terawatt Hours per year — 0.55% of global electricity production'. All this energy for a measly 350,000 transactions per day. BCH is far more efficient as there is no limit on the block size. It can scale to handle all the worlds currency transactions making it thousands of times more efficient than Bitcoin.
