The Spirit of Christmas Families have their own way of celebrating holidays. It may be a weird tradition of welcoming someone or maybe a prayer towards being thankful for the food and life, it's our way of celebrating. Christmas is spending extra time with friends and family, expressing thanks and love, exchanging and keeping others joyful, and commemorating the Savior, Jesus Christ's birth. To many people, these are the general meanings of Christmas. For Christians, the major reason for Christmas Celebrations is to believe that God entered the world in the shape of a man to make amends for humankind's misdeeds, rather than to know Jesus' actual birth date. The essence of Christmas is that God's plan and destiny will be realized wherever there is optimism, compassion, peace, and vitality. Christmas would also be a celebration of the Birth of Jesus and God's unfathomable gift to the world for our family. And such celebration contributes to the traditions that bring our family together in a particular manner throughout this joyous season. People on their way to spend the holidays with their loved ones make Christmas one of the busiest periods of the year at airports, train stations, and bus terminals. Many people adorn their homes with colorful lights and a garland of evergreen branches or other Holiday decorations in the lead-up to Christmas. Here is a look at Christmas in some countries around the world: **Argentina** At Christmastime in Argentina, the climate is tropical. Christmas arrangements begin as early as November and even earlier in December. Argentina has a large Catholic population, which celebrates Advent. In Argentina, the Nativity scene, or 'pesebre,' is also a popular Christmas ornament. Near the Christmas tree, the pesebre is placed. The major Christmas feast is usually served in the evening of Christmas Eve, about 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. It might be served in the garden or on the grill! At 12 a.m., there will be a barrage of fireworks. Folks also like 'toasting' the beginning of Christmas day. Some individuals like to attend midnight services, while others would rather stay at home and watch fireworks before opening their gifts under the tree. More people are attending late-night events and nightclubs these days. **London** There are several lovely things to do in London during Christmas, from Night markets and Shopping trips to ice skating rinks and Christmas activities. When December arrives, everyone becomes a little nicer, and you can spend your spare time sipping hot drinks, watching festive performances and pantomimes, reviewing your favorite Christmas flicks, gliding around scenic ice rinks, and having a full knees-up at all the Holiday parties. Visitors can visit the Annabel’s Swarovski Christmas façade. In partnership with Swarovski, Mayfair's beautiful private members' club has decked up for the Christmas season. The structure has been transformed into an amazing gingerbread home, adorned with sweet Swarovski crystals for visitors and passers-by to fawn over, adding a stunning façade to Berkeley Square. **Thailand** Thailand's Christmas vacation is a joyous occasion. Every mall in Bangkok is decked out in lights and decorations, and all of the main hotels and cities recreate the Christmas enchantment in their own unique ways. Christmas holidays in Thailand and several places of Thailand are very diverse and remarkable. Although Thailand is a Buddhist country, it nevertheless has a wonderful oceanic climate, and Thais know how to throw a fantastic party. Thailand is a shopper's utopia that will specialize in helping everyone looking for a meaningful gift this Christmas. You may indulge in an exciting experience while shopping in Phuket and meet your desires. **Ghana** Ghanaians celebrate Christmas from December 20th until the first week of January with a variety of events. Around Ghana, cocoa production (the bean used to produce chocolate) begins in December. Ghana is the world's second-largest manufacturer of cocoa. Christmas Eve evening is when the main celebrations begin, with drumming and dancing during church services. Children frequently perform a Nativity Play or other form of theater. No Christmas is complete without plenty of treats, such as spiced fruitcake and fresh-baked cookies. In Ghana, stew or okra soup, porridge with meats, rice, and a yam paste known as 'fufu' are among the traditional dishes. On the 31st of December, some Ghanaians attend church to thank the Lord for sending Jesus and to pray for a comfortable and healthy New Year. **Philippines** The Christmas season in the Philippines is one of the longest in the world. The Christmas season usually starts immediately as the "Ber" months approach. Christmas lanterns are hung from every residence and building in the country. Caroling is a well-known Christmas custom. Simbang Gabi is a Christmas ritual in which Filipinos attend a nine-day series of the church. It begins on the 16th of December and continues until Christmas Eve. The dishes offered from kiosks near the chapel are very popular among Filipinos. Families in the Philippines celebrate Christmas straight after the Christmas Midnight Mass, unlike in other nations where families celebrate in the morning. These are some of the countries that are sticking to their tradition in an amazing way and travelers may visit them for once. Annually, sentient tales in the media remind people of the Christmas story's origins. Dwellings for the poor and unemployed are requesting donations of money or presents for those in need. Christmas cards that capture the spirit of the holiday season. Some of the cards are spiritual, while others are secular or even comical. Throughout the festive season, special Christmas music, or carols, are sung and heard. Carolers from local organizations or churches may go knocking on doors performing Christmas songs in communities. I think the best part of Christmas is we forget all the problems and the negative vibes inside of us to the point where we just want to help people and give the best experience to the ones who are really in need. Sometimes, we can just wish that every day is Christmas so people will always be kind to everyone.

Why Having an Opinion is Important? People love having an opinion, whether it benefits their standards or hurts their ego. Most of the time, compliments are there to respect a person, a thing, or a situation and the bash or negative comments are there to harm a person's mental well-being. It is hard for an individual to hear or read a bad comment, especially if that person is not that open-minded and just listens to what he or she wants to hear. In a nutshell, work is difficult, which is why many avoid it. You must complete the reading. You must converse with knowledgeable individuals and comprehend their points. You must consider the important factors and their interactions across time. The sad thing is that most people don't like to see the journey of one and they rely on the beginning stage of a person to judge the tomorrow of that individual. This is why some people decide to have their ideas and decisions on their own because they will know that they will not get a support-feeling back and all they will get is critics from the people who haven't done much in life. By putting in the effort necessary to form a viewpoint, you will be able to debate with yourself more effectively than others. Working against our natural urge to seek out just information that validates what we already believe is true. The distinction between those who do the job and those who regurgitate memorized beliefs is enormous. You'll be capable of answering questions once you've completed the assignment. You understand when it's OK to follow the rules and when they'll land you in trouble. Your viewpoints will not be accepted by everyone. Everyone has the right to their own viewpoint, and such ideas are often accompanied by strong sentiments, resulting in intense discussions. It may appear to be simpler to repeat popular views and pander to the masses, but there is something to be said about creating and sticking to your own principles. When in a group in school or at work, we always work in teams. And it will not be a team effort if we don't hear the opinion of everyone. We may have opinions that are not contributing to a project but will encourage an individual to do their tasks and we may have opinions who will bring much work to the point that it will have the best results. Getting outspoken aids in the development of authority and the dissemination of your viewpoint to others. Everyone can contribute, especially the part where those statements are being heard and understood. Rather than simply nodding your head in agreement with others' viewpoints, articulating and sharing your own viewpoint might help to create your own identity. It's always a give-and-take situation where one must listen and hear at the same time because no one knows the right path with just himself on the way. And do not be afraid of being criticized and mocked. One has always had the right to express an opinion and to come to a decision on any and all issues, and society will not end as a result. Voicing an opinion serves to demonstrate the character you are, and viewpoints distinguish you from the crowd. Your diverse set of viewpoints may set you apart from the crowd and make you a one-of-a-kind individual. Whenever folks are hesitant to reveal their secrets, issues occur. The belief that views might be more significant than facts does not have to imply that knowledge is undervalued. It is still the fact that in certain cases, views have always trumped facts, which is a positive idea. However, we also have to keep in mind that not all the time, we have to express an opinion. We are okay to share an opinion if we lack knowledge about something we are debating on. People tend to think that they know a lot when they don't. It's probably because they get satisfaction when people think they are smart and are good at something. These are the people who like to hear themselves talk. They are the persons who talk a big game but don't produce anything necessary or contribute anything in particular. It's hard to live with people like that because of the fact that they always think that they are right and when you get in contrast with their views, you will end up being the bad person. Things get difficult when an accomplishment does not meet your expectations. You can choose to disregard the outcome and continue to believe that you are correct. Humans who are unable to adjust their opinions might not progress. The issue stems from our way of seeing the world. Our viewpoints are frequently based on how we believe the world should function.

The Importance of Constructive Criticism Feedback is always given by someone. Whether it's something you want to hear or something you already knew is coming or something you didn't like, feedback is always given. Social media platforms have comment sections for people with different intelligence. There are individuals who are not thinking deeply before clicking those letters on the board so the end result is always not good. We always had to make mistakes and take compliments equally so we become better people, not on the wealthy side but on the personality side. Feedback is an effective technique for signaling when something is well or for addressing weak results. The goal of providing criticism is to give direction by providing crucial data, whether to establish greater conduct or to help someone get back on the right track toward great results. Instead of putting you down, constructive criticism should be considered as an important input that may help you develop. Even though it still stings a bit, constructive criticism is typically easier to absorb. Constructive criticism is a useful method of providing critique that includes precise, practical recommendations. Peer feedback, instead of giving generic counsel, makes specific ideas on how to create good chances. Constructive criticism is straightforward, to-the-point, and simple to implement. It is the goal of feedback to assist others in learning. Giving feedback as a preceptor is a vital obligation you have to your student in order to assist them in learning. Individuals are encouraged to try specific abilities when they get regular feedback: they may test themselves, experiment with new talents, and obtain coaching that will help them perfect them prior to getting evaluated. At work, criticisms are very crucial. If your boss is correcting you in a way that there are specific recommendations and details about something you do, it shows how he or she truly cares about you as the employee, the job itself, and the business you are both on. There might be times that it's getting over-reacted but if the inputs are being evaluated in the right way, it's the perfection that matters. Peer assessment is beneficial since it demonstrates that your colleagues care about your development and would like to assist you in learning. These folks believe you're the perfect person for the position, instead of tolerating your failure and removing you. With a little help, you'll be a better match for your job and learn a few things in the process. Any leader's skillset must include the ability to provide and receive feedback. Constructive feedback is a powerful tool for fostering a positive work atmosphere, increasing productivity and engagement, and improving performance. It has a favorable impact on communication, team member engagement, and teamwork outcomes in a variety of industries. As someone who will hear a lot of comments from a skilled worker, he or she should listen. Listening well helps us to indicate that we are actively listening to the other variety of views, emotions, and actions (seeing the world through their eyes). This is essential for sustaining positive interactions, and sometimes it is the one and only medium to connect. Personally, the importance of constructive criticism is that it doesn't want to define you as a person, but rather a skilled worker. Individuals who don't want to learn or to accept a comment, whether it hurts their ego or not, are not really intelligent people. These people would rather do everything on their own and do mistakes over and over again, rather than listen to an expert to help them do better. It's hard for some people to be corrected, especially if it doesn't benefit their intelligence. One thing that I notice with some of my relatives is that once their belief is being fought by another belief, they tend to get angry instead of listening and taking the right stuff with them. These kinds of people are hard to be explained when it comes to things that they believe that is in such a way so it's hard for them to do it differently. Criticism provides us with a fresh outlook and allows us to see aspects we might well have previously ignored or never contemplated. Constructive criticism and evaluation may help you build by revealing awareness and providing opportunities for growth, whether that was a peer evaluation of your effort or a progress report. We all make mistakes in life, all we have to do is to embrace change.

The Influence of Parents on their Kid's Future The role of parents on their kid's behavior, style, and approach to circumstances is very crucial since they are the first ones that the kids see when dealing with everyday life. It is hard when you are not ready to be one by the time a child is delivered to you. It's like a package with an empty box where you don't know where to start. I'm not yet a parent, or perhaps never will be, but I do have things that I see on my parents that I will pass on if ever I will have a kid. The phrase 'home education' refers to the family's educational effect on children. It has been proven that children gain a variety of experiences in varied family situations by participating in various activities and are continually subjected to a variety of effects and demands from the people with whom they live. The family, as a cell, operates only out of love and respect, and it rules over comprehension, affection, and communication. Whenever parents participate in their children's learning, the results are typically good and motivating. However, there are instances that the parents don't see the impact of their anger towards the kids and still get the surprised face when their kid is not doing good. It is important for a parent to be able to approach a kid in a way that they know will reflect a good mind inside. Especially in learning, as most kids are being homeschooled, patience and eagerness to learn are a must. Authoritative parenting style over the kid must be permanent in order for the youngster to achieve strong academic performance. To be successful in the learning program we are doing with the kid, we should be acquainted with certain rules that are related to the child's developmental milestones and moreover, we need to be familiar with some rules that are related to the child's emotional growth. Maternal views about academics may have a big impact on how well their kids do in class, but it's quite crucial to strike the correct mix of academic achievement. Many guardians go too far in their participation. Over-involvement can lead to you intervening too frequently in matters that should be handled by the kid. While every parent genuinely cares for their kid, poor parenting can sometimes change the way of the car. Child neglect has several harmful consequences in your child's life. As a result, it is critical for each parent to assess his or her parenting abilities in order to understand the consequences of certain parental involvement on the kid. Before, I always think that the behavior of a kid is the result of how a parent managed to control him or her, but it all changed based on my experience and what I see in my environment. Parents are not the only ones who will have to take care of their child's mind. Friendship or buddies from the outside might also influence their way of thinking. I know kids who are younger than me who are able to shout at their parents as if they do not care about the idea of respecting the reasons of one another. Kids can shout but they also have to be on the right path rather than defending a mistake that should never be done. Communication must be a give and take. One should not always be the one to take and the other one to give because, in the end, they will just regret everything. Personally, I think one of the best approaches that parents should start doing to their kids should be focusing on the "process", rather than the result. Most people, even those who are not parents, are only focused on the outcomes and not the effort of an individual who put a lot of work into a piece of art. I think parents who listen to their kids, whether it's a problem at school or something they want to do tomorrow, are pretty much very close to one another. I have people who are having a hard time listening to other people because, most of the time, they are not really interested in the topic. And that's where everything falls down. I'm an introvert and I don't talk to people a lot, but when I do, I overshare, but not to the point that I give clues on who I am as a person. So as a reciprocate, whenever a person tries to tell a story and gets interrupted, I find a way for them to tell their side. It's one of the things that I consider to be an underrated move since most people ignore the fact that there are people who want to be heard and once they don't get that, it will hurt them a lot. Parents' support is critical for their children's educational and personal development. Disappointment and accomplishment are inextricably linked, and indeed the role parents play in their children's lives shapes them. Several youngsters struggle with grades but excel in plenty of other areas; guardians should value these abilities instead of dismissing their children as underachievers. Parents must also understand that when it comes to future wants, they are just there to be the guide and not the decision-maker. It will be hard for a child to think properly when he or she is being forced into something that isn't aligned with his or her wants. It is a big burden to carry on when a parent makes the oldest child the breadwinner of the family. Yes, it is the oldest's responsibility to help the family but not all the time, they are there to take care of everything. They have personal wants and needs and only they are to work in order to have it. It is much hard when parents don't listen and don't even try to understand the idea of proper communication. Experiencing negative vibes at a young age can cause a lot of damage to an individual. There is an American serial killer by the name of Aileen Wournos who had a terrible childhood that led to a bad ending. Her story became a movie starring Charlize Theron, who won an Academy Award for her performance, entitled "Monster". Aileen had a troublesome family wherein at a young age, she decided to run away from home. She met a girl who was at her side but then turned her back by the time she was arrested for murdering men while Aileen was working as a call girl. I can't imagine the negative emotion she was having when the world fall on her shoulders because if I was in that situation, I would have just ended my life right there. Childhood trauma can and will bring back memories if that same thing happened when you start to live on your own. An individual may have a hard time making decisions and dealing with problems when he or she doesn't have someone to lean on. Parents are not the only ones responsible for their kid's future, but they will make a big influence on who they will become as they grow up.

Why is Time Machine a Horrible Idea? If you could go back in time and shoot Adolf Hitler, would you pull the trigger or not? The idea of killing a villain in this world's history is actually a good thing. However, there is so much to discuss when it comes to going back in time. You will be a hero in this generation if you can kill the young Hitler but you are a monster at that time if you murder that child. There are facts to consider before you make a decision to go back in time. Let's talk about the idea of time travel first. We all know that time travel already happens today. There are astronauts out there who are in space who is currently moving faster than us, here on earth. We can also imagine and re-imagine the moments we miss the most like the first of school or the time we laid our eyes on our partners or the birth of a child. We are basically traveling through time via imagination. But those concepts are totally different from what we are expecting a time journey to be. Science fiction books and movies gave us the idea of being able to go back in time and see the future. Interstellar travel into the intervening decades, which is what most people think of when they say time travel, is a significantly riskier undertaking. In our cosmos, no experiment or observation has ever shown that time travel is possible. There is a chance that humans can create the concept of a time machine by making a wormhole. Wormholes join different places in spacetime, therefore implying they might theoretically allow time and space travel. Morris, Thorne, and Yurtsever figured how to turn a wormhole traveling space into one navigating time by speeding up one of the wormhole's two entrances in 1988. Despite substantial research into the theoretical features of wormholes over the last decade, nothing is established as to how to create a macroscopic wormhole substantial enough for a humanoid or a spaceship to travel through. There is news that says that the time machine has already been built, however, scientists are doing the best they can to make it as efficient as possible. Time is relative given how quickly you are going, thus according to Albert Einstein's theory of special relativity. This is the foundation for actual time travel notions and studies. The slower an object moves relative to another object, the slower that the first item sees time, according to special relativity. Furthermore, according to general relativity, clocks that are closer to the nucleus of a huge gravitational mass like Earth ticks slower than clocks are much further distant. Going back to the idea of killing Adolf Hitler, let's take a closer look into it. Because of what Hitler did to the mass, it's undoubtedly that he is an evil villain. Even though his leadership skills were up to par, it wasn't a backup for all the wrong things he did. If I will going to put an end to this by going back in time, I will be the hero. But since I put an end before he even did something, how can books write me as a hero. Everything will change, not only the fact that the child Adolf will die but also how the world will turn. People will look at me as a murderer and not a hero. I will have a hard time convincing people of what this child will do in the future because of two things, they may not believe that the child will be that evil or the child will likely do other things and history will be rewritten. This concept is from a situation perspective. Looking into the physical perspective with the time machine will be dangerous. There are studies that say that time machine is hazardous to a human's body. Possibly because of the chemicals and the speed of light that will be used to be able to go back in time. I wasn't really convinced by this concept, however, take a look at the movie Tomorrowland. There are scenes where whenever they travel through time, they are exhausted afterward and had to drink coke. I don't get the idea of drinking coke or maybe I just missed it in the movie but all I know is that in that short amount of time, their body was difficult to stand the power of time traveling. If we are to look at the bigger picture, there will be people who will take advantage of having a time machine. Rich and powerful people would use it to make them even more powerful and somehow kill the enemies that forbid them in their businesses. Government people will use it to produce or change the concept of world wars which will make a bigger mess. A man would probably start the concept of Tesla even before Elon Musk or Microsoft even before Bill Gates. A greedy woman would probably marry a man who became a successful person in the future. An abusive man would probably be more abusive thinking that no one in the past knows who he is or what he does when he gets drunk and angry. Life would be completely different because since we all know the mistakes we made, the right choices will be done in the past. It may be a fantasy for people to go back in time, but we have to think of deeper thoughts before doing a decision that will not only affect us but other people as well.

The Importance of That Mask You Wear We all tend to show a different profile of ourselves, depending on the type of people we are currently talking or interacting with. We are all different from one another. And by different, I meant, we are different from who we show to other people. Some of you may see me as a good writer and some find my articles badly written. Some of you may be jolly to your friends and some are walking red flags. Just like celebrities, we live differently on and off-camera. Personally, I tend to be a different person in a new situation. It just so happens that I don't want other people to know me, even if I share a lot of things with them, but not to the point that I lie about my experiences. Transitioning to college, I met a lot of people with who I became friends, but not that close. As a student who takes irregular classes, I go to different classes with different people in different courses. It's really a hard thing to do, especially since they are all in different auras and I don't want to be the center of attention because they might think of me as a show-off or pick-me person. But when I have the chance to talk to the person beside me, I make conversations that will go along with their personality. For example, I went to a class of communications where students are seen to be as good at speaking so the confidence is really up to par. And one thing that I noticed is that when it comes to activities, they want to be precisely on point. So when I ask questions or open a topic, I look for debatable questions where they can answer any of the two alongside their reasons. It's not that hard for me because I am a programming student so it's basically a math problem where 1 + 1 = 2 and nothing more. What I experienced is like a driven trigger from being nervous because you are surrounded by super-competitive people. Mental anguish can occasionally help you get through a difficult circumstance, but if left uncontrolled, it can have a negative impact on your physical and emotional health. Perhaps you went to a very prestigious university in which you have to work the majority of your period to achieve. Alternatively, it's possible that your mom and dad had great expectations for you and encouraged you to work hard to attain them. We have a "real" face. The face that we show our friends is totally different from the face we show our parents because we are all wearing a mask. We change this mask depending on where we are, who we are talking to and what we are currently doing. We take off this mask when we are comfortable because we don't have to be another person having another personality. Our selfish character is our ego. In everything, we want to have our way. We consider ourselves to be apart from the real world. There is only our 'ego' world. There is a Japanese belief where people have three faces. "The first face, you show to the world. The second face, you show to your close friends and your family. The third face, you never show anyone. It is the truest reflection of who you are." Think of yourself as a famous and award-winning actor who has been in the spotlight ever since you step-foot in the limelight. Every time you go to an interview, you have to smile. People value smile because it's one of the ways that you can tell a celebrity is entertaining and that's what matters the most. Even if you are battling a difficult problem at home, you can never bring it in front of the camera, unless told so by the management. The public personality always has to be a good image, otherwise, it will just sink like the titanic. No celebrity desires to be despised by their fans or supporters or even strangers, so they cultivate a nice, better reputation. After that interview, you go home to your family. They see you as a different person again. They may have watched your interview and believed in it and some do not. Chances are you are that child who made your parents proud and you want to make them smile by giving the best in every role you portray. For most Asians, there is always a family with conservative parents. I have a strict mother so the idea of being a good girl always has to be present. Friends will always be different since this is like an escaping room from the child you want your parents to see. No matter how tiny the decision or how huge the danger, humans adapt and learn on a regular basis. We wouldn't want to be criticized or marginalized. Most people are wary of loneliness that they fail to win their presence and blend in with the crowd. After having dinner with the family, you go to bed and look at the ceiling. You ask yourself many different things. This is where the real "you" comes in. This is the time you are enjoying your company and not bothering what anyone will tell you. The majority of people never even come close to seeing this face. And those who witness it are sometimes terrified of what it really looks like. I sense we are afraid of within us, which is why we devote more attention towards the other two surfaces than from our most essential face, the true side of us. We may not like the mask we wear but at most times, we tend to wear it to make a living or to show people how kind we are. I don't like wearing masks too but if I show people my true personality, they may find me boring. In this generation, it's hard to interact when you are an introvert. Even though people are so attached to their phones, it's not always the case when you are doing something to put food on the table. It's not etiquette, it's just something that matters.

@stellaluna

Why Should We Help Others? One of the best things about helping others is that it creates the happiness you never knew existed. I have a hard time trusting people but when I do, I get a lot of smiles which makes me feel better even when I feel down at the time. I know people will take advantage of you but at the same time, I don't want to hear statements that say that I'm the bad girl in the family. As long as it benefits my happiness and I know I'm doing well, I can get along with, unless they push me to the limits. I once volunteered when my town was left torn apart from the storm a few years ago. We were packing goods and stuff and even though I felt tired at the end of the day, it came to my mind that there are people who will be having these goods which will help decrease the load of their burden. This increased perception of well-being might be a result of being more fit and healthy as a product of helping, or it could be due to the fact that volunteering makes us much more psychologically engaged. I also want to point out that I got a chance to meet some of the best people in life. There are many opportunities that you will meet someone, but rarely you will have someone who can understand you and have fun being with you. Offering to help others may lead to new friendships and a stronger sense of community. Volunteering on a regular basis can help you manage stress and sickness while also enhancing your feeling of fulfillment in life. Helping isn't simply about dollars, therefore you don't have to be wealthy to help others. A single nice word, smile, or thoughtful gesture may go a long way toward helping others. Giving time, care, talents, thinking, or attention are all examples. These can be just as important as, if not more important than, money presents. Kindness to others is the glue that binds individual happiness to a broader sense of community and social well-being. It's understandable that assisting others helps to our own pleasure. Individuals who are philanthropic seem to be more likely to be appreciated, therefore resulting to stronger and more supportive social networks, as well as enhanced sentiments of satisfaction and happiness. There are cases that people want to help in exchange for something. Those who are wishing for a materialistic thing back are not a good thing. You are helping because you know that the person has no ability to do things or to have things that you can have. On the contrary, there are people who are wishing for at least a simple appreciation and thank you back. This is a good sign actually. Personally, I don't mind helping people but when I see and know that people don't treat me as if I don't do anything productive, then it's the end of it. You can't force people to do something but you can stop yourself from being a helper when it's getting abused rather than appreciation. I am not saying that I do guilt-trip but if the person doesn't really care, why bother doing it? I don't mind what I give, I mind that I put love into it. In this world, those who were given numerous chances are the ones who are actually ungrateful for what they have. I have seen it in real life, that's why there are times that people just don't want to get involved in something they know they will get hurt. Humans devote the majority of our lives to ourselves, our families, and our colleagues. We are trapped in a cocoon that almost always permits us to spread our circle to a certain extent. There are people who may have a hard time helping people. Maybe they have a traumatic experience where it stopped them from helping. I know a woman who actually stopped giving financial assistance to a charity after the last orphanage she went on turned out to be a strange organization where the older ones are using children to be orphans but in reality, they are kids who are forced to be beggars on the street whenever a visitor is not in their building. I have respect for people who give less fortunate people the ability to at least go on with life but, of course, we can't abuse their capability, instead, we should be thankful for it. The concept of karma is frequently presented in a poor context. If you do anything terrible, unhappiness will follow you. It also behaves strangely way around. Good things appear to happen once you're a decent person and assist others. We are all related, even if we are divided and isolated. Our species' moral and ethical notion of helping is unique. The Impact of a Broken Family It is hard for me to look at a family and know that the children have a mother and a father to celebrate happy occasions. Even though I think that I am okay with no father on my side, I still wanted to have someone I can look onto whenever I need to. I don't question the credibility of me as a daughter or even my mom as a partner to my father because I know in my heart that we never did anything wrong. We can never consider cheating as a good thing unless we are abusing the ones on our side. In theory, a family should always remain together no matter what, but this is rarely the case in actuality. Families will have conflicts, arguments, and even grow alienated. You are not required to establish a connection with a member of your family simply because they are related to you. They are irredeemable in some instances, and it is preferable to avoid them. Everyone's desire is to have a healthy and happy family. However, many others were unable to complete the task. The healthy families have also been split apart due to various issues. Once unwelcome events occur, countless homes have been shattered, and individuals were divided. This is a sad event that has occurred for both uncontrolled and hurtful causes. There are many reasons why a family becomes broken. One of the main reasons is Divorce or the separation of the parents. Money troubles, sexual misunderstandings, early and forced marriage, unwanted pregnancies, education, and medical problems are all typical disagreements between married couples. Another cause is the loss of trust. When a couple loses faith in one another, they end up divorcing. In a marriage, trust is crucial; if a person loses faith in his or her spouse, he or she will either obtain a divorce or opt to have an affair, which will lead to divorce. Divorce is the most difficult struggle that a marriage can face, especially if they have children. It is not only upsetting for them to learn that their parents are divorcing at that particular time. However, all that will actually occur is a lengthy consequence that would damage their life. Another reason why families ended up parting ways is because of different beliefs. Asia has a lot of cultural beliefs that are totally different depending on the country, family, and sometimes even religion. Maternal duty is shared equally by both parents. As a result, a kid ought to have the right to be educated about and encounter both parents' religious views. Neither parent has the authority to control a child's personal faith. While everyone has the freedom to practice their religion, when the religious views of birth parents disagree, perhaps there is a solution to settle the dispute to the greatest advantage of the kid. Research says that women and children suffer the most when it comes to broken families. Although men can also experience sadness and depression because of the situation, I believe that they handle the situation to the best of their ability. Because society is telling them that they should man, they are having a hard time communicating their feelings. Some might even encounter people who will say that they are too feminine which might hurt their feelings even more. In a comprehensive study of how parents fare in the years following the divorce, it was discovered that children and their moms had lower living standards than dads. Women's living standards continue to deteriorate faster than men's following divorce, particularly when kids are present, but also for marriages without children. Though the absence of the man's salary is in no way offset by increased income from severance, child support, benefits, and government subsidies, and getting small mouths to support, women and kids from high-income households face notably severe declines in housing demand. The bottom line, the kids will always suffer because they are supposed to feel happiness inside the family before going out but instead they are experiencing the worst inside. Many of the health issues that children from broken households face are mental health-related. Psychological unhealthy coping mechanisms are a big source of headaches — it's the misery of it all – being through the emotional cycle, as it were – that produces these headaches. Witnessing your kid's behavior transformation of the divorce may be quite traumatic for the parent. Parents don't want their child to see that he or she is withdrawing into his or her own shell, instead, parents want their child to be confident, but after a divorce, that confidence may be shaken. Whilst the trauma of divorce may be painful at first, your children may start to view it as a refreshing break if you and your spouse were frequently squabbling and your children were usually caught in the midst. Only after divorce is finalized, the children may breathe easy knowing they will again have two loving families. People encounter problems along the way. But the decisions we do can greatly affect us and the people beside us. We are entitled to solve a problem the right way. Even though I do not agree with having a broken family, I still want to pass the idea of the Divorce bill. Even though the idea of "being together for the children" isn't always a feasible choice, it's something that most couples think about. Children must adjust to new living arrangements, such as having clothing at both mom and dad's houses and rooms at both houses because they must or can stay with either their parents whenever they want to. People need to understand that having a law that will enable both parents to have freedom and the children to have a good situation. Chances are given yes, but there's no going back if too many chances have been given.

I Get More Stress When I'm Resting You know the feeling that when you lay down and you promise yourself that you will not think of what's keeping you up late but you ended up dreaming about it? Well, I experience that most of the time. So by the time I wake up, I didn't feel any better, instead, I just think that more problems come through my mind. It's hard to keep up with everything, especially when you are having a hard time figuring out how to solve your problems. There are a number of factors you will encounter as you go along the way and the problems just keep adding up, instead of actually eliminating them. These factors may include school works or job-related issues. Family issues are the biggest unhealthy thing that can happen to someone. They are supposed to help you when you need someone to hold on to but they do otherwise. Relationship issues with friends, love partners, and other family members are a prevalent source of stress on a daily basis. Disruptive marriages, marital squabbles relationships, defiant teenagers, or caring for a chronically ill relative or a child with special needs. All of these factors can contribute to a significant increase in stress levels. I have family members that just get on my nerves and I don't bother saying something because I know that they will not listen, especially the older ones. I don't really get the concept that when you are older, you're supposed to know more things. We don't step on the same ground with the same shoes, so how am I supposed to know your intelligence? I'm actually proud, and a little bit jealous, of people younger than me who are capable of doing more valuable things than me. At some point, I think of them as pro-active in life and is happy with their current situation. That's why I'm sick and tired of the older ones who tend to say things as if those statements are always correct. At its most primitive form, stress is a natural way to forces imposed by a stressor,' which is a scenario or life event. This scenario could be anything but it does fall into the category that it is not something you asked for. When it comes to stress studies, defining what "stress" is maybe quite challenging. Studies say that stress is not a psychological disorder within itself, it is commonly referred to as chronic, or long-term stress, and it can have a negative influence on both health and wellbeing. There are a lot of people who have experienced traumatic experiences to the point that they react differently when something or someone reminds them of the past. It can be very challenging and upsetting because it can be considered as a natural instinct as if your body automatically does something without you even thinking and knowing about it. For example, I had a bad relationship with my father. And since I haven't seen him for a while, and I know in myself that I haven't forgiven him, my heart seems to pump more than the natural, to the point that I would just cry after that because a flashback just automatically played in my memory. It is hard to explain this to people, especially the ones who think of us as if we are just being overdramatic or over-exaggerating a situation. There are various and extremely individual reasons for stress. Many things influence what you consider stressful, including your personality, overall view on life, problem-solving talents, and social support system. Stressors are major life occurrences. The faster or more dramatic the transition, whether it's a divorce, a kid leaving home, a planned pregnancy, a relocation to a new area, a job shift, graduating from college, or a cancer diagnosis, the greater the pressure. Sometimes, people may have a hard time falling asleep because of stress. The trait-like degree to which stress exposure interrupts sleep, resulting in trouble falling and staying asleep, is known as sleep reactivity. When people with highly reactive sleep systems are stressed, their sleep quality suffers dramatically. People may call it "Insomnia". Insomnia symptoms can be triggered by a number of physiological, psychological, and progressive activism. Only when insomnia causes severe discomfort or worry, or when it leads to daytime impairment, is it deemed a condition. There are a lot of things that may happen to your body when you are stressed. Based on my experience, I think the reason why I have more stress when I'm supposed to be resting is that the body unknowingly reacts to it. Stress has been identified as a prevalent trigger in studies. Anxiety-related headaches can emerge as a physical reaction to mental anguish. When you're anxious, headaches are more likely to strike. Stress is a major cause of tension headaches and migraines, and it can also cause or worsen other forms of headaches. You may also experience the risk of a heart attack. Although stress does not cause a cardiac arrest, it can have a significant influence on your heart health and potentially provoke a heart attack-like episode. High blood pressure can be caused by stress, which increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. Smoking, overeating, and a lack of physical activity are all risk factors for cardiovascular disease. I think the way to overcome stress depends on the contributing factors to why someone is experiencing it. We can't say to someone to eat healthily or exercise or do something productive or stay away from something or someone to at least decrease the stress they are experiencing. We are not experiencing the same rotations every day so it's not up to us to be a "medical doctor" to them when giving advice. I also have stress but most of the time, I like to keep it with myself because not everyone will understand me and listen to my problems.

The Importance of Prayer Every religion has its own way of communicating and having faith in its beliefs. Whether that religion has a form of God wherein they put their wishes and thanks, we all have a way to deliver the message we want. Through conscious communication, prayer is an invocation or act that aims to activate a connection with an object of devotion. Prayer isn't a rite that requires us to close our eyes and put on a sacred mask. We are not required to kneel or sit. Prayer is offering our undivided attention to God in a two-way spiritual connection in which we both speak to and listen to Him. In Christianity, we are using prayer to build a relationship with God. And it is not only done when we happen to close our eyes at night or be in church every Sunday, we can pray even if we are doing something. It deepens our relationship with God. Hopefulness and patience become a little easier when you have a good relationship with the One. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us because He always understands what's on our minds, even if we all have different prayers or when we don't utter a word. Your trust and confidence in God are rewarded with spiritual power, love, wisdom, and tranquility as you develop your connection with Him. I think one of the best things about prayer is that it fights the negative temptations we encounter in life. Turning to God in repentance and trust, according to the Bible, is the first step in overcoming temptation. Recognize that only Jesus the Christ has the potential to implement you straight with God. He died in your place to appease God's rightful anger for your sin, and He rose from the dead to show that the sins had been paid. I have to say that the Bible is not there so we have stories to replicate in real life, it should be our guide that whenever we come across a problem that is constantly destroying us and our faith, we should look into it as if it's someone who is capable of bringing us back together in one piece. There are cases that you may see people, especially the ones in Christianity, who are having a hard time praying. Have you ever been in a situation where you wish something in your prayer and after months or years, it didn't show up to the point that you just gave up on it? Well, that's probably one of the reasons why some of us lack prayer. We don't want to do something if we don't get anything back. In some cases, this may be a reasonable statement, but as always, if we don't get that wish then it might be one of two reasons; We don't really need it or we are about to receive that wish in a much bigger form. It's impossible to deny that there are moments when you desire to accomplish things on your own rather than depending on God. Humans have a natural tendency to be conceited, demanding credit for everything that happens in their life. There are times that we use prayer for our own sake. Instead of actually thinking about what is best for many, we think of ourselves first. I have to admit that sometimes, problems are one of the reasonable reasons why we do this. We know that not all people will help us overcome these struggles, even our loved ones. In this generation, it might be hard to talk to someone who is set in his ways or just doesn't know how to listen at all. That is why there are many cases of suicides because people don't know what to do with these problems. And I don't believe that "It's all part of God's plan." If we encounter people who had a rough time or are struggling to make a living, instead of saying that they lack prayer, try saying something that will help them solve that problem. Everything happens for a reason, but that reason is not all the time acceptable. We can never rely everything on God or miracles. We must do something to make a difference with God on our side.

How Much Money Do You Really Need? The thing about money is that even if it's just paper, it's one of the most valuable things one could ever have. In the society we are living in right now, it's hard to say that we can live without the appearance of money. Almost every transaction we do involves money, whether we want to buy food, we want to fix certain family documents, and even when we want to study. As time goes by, we will have a hard time eliminating money in our personal lives since it became the basis of everyday living. Money is a key variable that allows you to manage your life. Buying and selling products for goods is an older habit, and you can't purchase something if you don't have any money. Many individuals in the world already have money without having to work "that" hard for it. While some of them succeed in their endeavors, the only truly awful way to get money is to work hard. There are several methods to make money, however, in order to maintain your riches, you must manage your individual funds. I read one post on a social media platform wherein it says, "If you give one million dollars to a rich man, he will use it to invest on something that will give him twice the money back, but if you give a poor man one million dollars, he will not invest it but rather buy things for himself." At some point, that is correct. However, we have to look at possible factors that contributed to why that poor man will spend it on things rather than investing it in a business or something. On my part, I see that second sentence as if there is a negative vibe towards the poor man. If we are to look at the deeper meaning, whenever people have money, they will spend it on things they don't currently have. The rich man already has food at home, while the poor man doesn't so obviously he will spend the money to buy food. The rich man already has a phone for business and entertainment, the poor man will buy a phone so he can use it for other necessary things. The rich man already has a car to drive around while the poor can buy a car so he uses it as a service for him to do work like Uber or car-for-rent. The rich man is so ahead of the poor man that he doesn't have to buy those things to be able to look at investment. Investments doesn't happen overnight. The poor man will be more likely to spend it on things in need of survival, especially if he has a family. Money may provide us the ability to make a difference in other people's lives, but it does not give us the motivation to do so. It can provide us with the time to grow and nourish our relationships, but not the love and care that is required. Evidence of the affluent and famous's psychological and spiritual poverty abounds in our newspapers, magazines, tabloids, and television shows, and it scarcely needs to be repeated here. Yes, we get a rush from pricey items at first. However, we quickly become accustomed to them, a situation is known as the 'hedonic treadmill' by economists. One of several factors why people claim they don't care about money is that it has been called "the root of all evil." It's accurate that extraverted individuals can let their fixation with money lead them to do awful things for monetary benefit. Money, on the other hand, is only a means of transaction. With over seven billion people in the world, there are all kinds of businesses one could think of. In those businesses, we have people doing work as a form of service. If we want people to do service for us, we have to pay them. People will have a hard time doing something for free all of the time because we also have to pay for things in life. Since we want the easier method of having something, we pay people to do them for us. We always have to look at the bigger and deeper picture so that we can understand why some things happen. Money is important as it gives you more self-control, greater flexibility to sculpt out your own course of action, and fewer restrictions on your options. When it comes to children, money can immensely pamper them, thus affluent parents must find a way to provide the best for their children while also teaching them the value of money and not spoiling them to the point where their perspective on life is eternally warped. Resource integration implies that life is no longer a continual struggle to keep one's business afloat. Possessing money allows you to appreciate life as much as possible, including new experiences, sensations, and flavors. So how much money do you need in life? Let's consider the fact that we are living in a society where all establishments, from restaurants to libraries to cinemas to hospitals to banks to malls to everything, are present. We will see people working on them. More than twenty people will be more likely present in every establishment. Our everyday needs will be available in those areas and we just need to pay them. However, we must also look at the fact money in an economic manner and service manner. There will be taxes and taxes. As we look at these things in a picture. Paying people to do those things for us will cost thousands of dollars. It will be based on your chosen lifestyle. But sometimes, it's not even the lifestyle. It's just life itself. All the burdens in the world will just appear right in front of you when you don't even know it. I recommend watching "Fun with Dick and Jane". The movie is entertaining but there is meaning to it about money and the problems it gives us. Money can definitely solve most of your problems. It's just up to you to handle it wisely.

Many Opportunities Were Lost Because of Shyness I could have been a whole different person right now compared to who I am last year if I just grabbed the opportunity. I care so much about what people say to me and how they see me as a person to the point that I don't even know myself anymore. There are times that I motivate myself because I know that I could do better than what I am thinking but there are still moments that I think somebody is watching me. Many people took the attitude that it was up to individuals to improve their lives during the personal growth movement. "I can do it" encapsulated the day's directives: self-reliance and self-efficacy. We proceeded under the assumption that even extreme shyness is best understood as a lack of "social fitness," similar to a lack of physical fitness. Parental and peer rejection, as well as parental overprotection, all have a role in the development of pathological shyness, leading to a lack of consciousness. Growing up, I experienced a lot of love from my parents but at the same time, they are also protecting me in the way that they are strict on my part. I have no problem with them having many rules inside and outside the house because I always have that thinking that it's for my benefit. So when I had peers in school that completely judged me based on my physical appearance, I had a hard time accepting everything. I had no time to fight back also because I knew that no one will be on my side, even the closest friends that I had back then. Transitioning to high school, I missed a lot of moments that could have been fun but I decided to make decisions to the opposite. Like when the class is hanging out in the woods but I decided not to go by saying that it's medical advice that I should not be in that kind of environment, which, by the way, is a dumb move on my end. Although in most parts, I participate in activities that happened in school, I know that I didn't have fun doing them. I have people who I know make fun of me that's why I have a hard time socializing with other people. People with anxiety disorders frequently fear that others will judge them. People will think negatively of them or that they will be judged. Simultaneously, they may worry that they aren't as excellent as others and aren't 'up to par.' Several socially nervous persons are comfortable while conversing with people they know well, but they are terrified when interacting with newcomers. It can also happen the opposite way around. Certain individuals are likely to avoid tough circumstances entirely, which can result in a significant deal of difficulty, a loss of social life, or even a loss of employment opportunities. Others will deal with their nervousness upon doing factors that help them feel more secure and safe in what may appear to be frightening circumstances. Going into college, I really thought that I would have been a different person. I honestly think that I'm still the same person when it comes to talking to other people and presenting myself. Even though I handled most parts that require me to be on my own which is a lot of fun, I don't think that it's enough when making decisions that will affect me and my future. Even when I know the answers to a lesson, I'm always frightened of being called on in school. I always wait for the professor to call me because I don't want to be called out when I say something wrong and I don't want other people to look at me as if I am above all of them. During my application on several jobs, my heart is really pounding as if I'm going to embarrass myself once again in front of a professional. I know that those people who interviewed don't personally know me so they have nothing to say and they will forget me at the end of the day, I still have that nervousness in me. It's scary to make decisions that will have long-term effects. Also, it's like making a decision that you will get to look back on, even if you don't get the part. Making a significant shift in one's life or staying the same are both eerily ambiguous choices. Any significant opportunity has advantages and disadvantages, but your willingness to try new things may also influence your selection. I actually feel jealous of people that are doing better than when it comes to basic things. I always wanted to be a better one since I know that it will benefit not only myself but also the decisions that will affect the people around me. Just like me, other individuals who struggle from shyness are unlikely to be as happy as they may be. They are apprehensive and hesitant much too often, and instead of seeking methods to have rewarding social encounters, they hunt for strategies to escape much-feared rejection. Shyness is a very frequent trait. I would like to ask anyone who reads this, how can I cope up with my shyness?

@stellaluna

The Norm "You should forgive your enemy because even God forgives His people." is the most brain-dead norm statement I have ever heard in my life. I would never forgive someone because I know in myself that they only use their "sorry" as a permit to be able to do the bad things again. They are not really sorry at all. In such places, there are a lot of forms of normal versus unusual situations. As humans, we often build our own concepts of right and wrong. Most of the time, when we think about the wrong part, we refer to the actions that harm other people's lives or minds or to the actions that don't fit inside the box. These actions are always based on how different it is from the usual beliefs we had ever since we step foot in the world. We understand that social norms might have nonsocial roots. Any present-day human behavior is influenced by a number of factors —Individual, familial, community, societal, governmental, and economic factors – as well as current events – are all factors to consider. At multiple levels, prior factors impact the outcome. As I was browsing my younger brother's school lessons, I noticed one thing that is built inside the minds of younger ones to the point that if this will continue, it will be their perspective in life. The lesson talks about introducing the student and one part of it is to say the name of the father as well as his occupation. Technically, there is nothing wrong with that kind of mindset. Biologically speaking, there is a father and a mother figure on a child, however, the concern is that not every child is living with their father or mother. Reasons may vary according to what the family has experienced. On our side, my brother and I had not seen our father ever since the pandemic happened. And by that, we consider our mother to be both the father and the mother of this family. Of course, it was a painful experience for the three of us but at some point, it isn't right for a student to write down the name of the parent if it brings a bad flashback. My little brother doesn't like to talk about my father anymore, as I do. My reason is that I get that "high blood pressure" feeling to the point that I will just start crying. I don't know my brother's reason because I don't want him to think about these things at a younger age. My point is that people need to open their minds when it comes to personal perspectives. Not everyone lives, what is considered to be, "normal" life, where you have a father and a mother that is with you as you grow up. It is not the kid's fault that something bad happened between their parents so why make them suffer. I may be over-exaggerating but I know and understand other people's feelings when it comes to family matters. The majority of people do not consider their family to have a "culture." Children are shaped by the family culture into which they are born in both direct and indirect ways. As they get older, their perceptions of what is right and wrong, good and evil, reflect the family's views, values, and traditions. The family's values establish the tone for the family's foundation. Families bring the rules of behavior that have governed the family culture with them when they establish foundations. One norm in the family that I am having a hard time understanding is to respect the elders. I believe that we should respect those who are respectable. Not because one is at such age that we automatically have to keep our composure when we are having an argument to the point that instead of correcting the wrong, we shut ourselves down because we are acting rude in front of the elders. I have family members that I consider are respectable and I gave them the respect that they need to have. Although at some point, my mother always tells me to be humble and always do the right thing, I know that in her mind, she just wants us to be kind people even when other people don't want to. I think that these elder ones who consider themselves superior don't want to listen to an opinion that is totally different from them. When younger ones talk about the argument they are having, doesn't mean that they have no respect and that they are in denial. They are voicing out something you have to know in order for you to understand why something happened. Not because you have lived longer doesn't mean you know better. When this cultural type of family establishes a foundation, trustees are subjected to the same demands for compliance. In most cases, there is little to no debate, and fresh voices or opinions on subjects are prohibited. When it comes to love, you have to know that there is no gender involved. I am a Catholic person but I believe that marriage should not be between a man and a woman but between two people who are willing to share the rest of their lives with one another. The things that I don't understand in society when it comes to love (and marriage) is, first, they allow child marriage. Although I know that many people get angry when they see a child getting married to a man because it's part of their "tradition" and we should respect it, I see little to no people debating about it to the point that it needs to stop. Besides the fact that instead of a child enjoying his or her youth and doing the stuff he or she wants to do before becoming an adult, there are many cases of deaths regarding this matter. According to a new Save the Children report released on International Day of the Girl, more than 22,000 girls die each year as a result of pregnancy and childbirth caused by early marriage. Because their bodies aren't ready to have children, childbirth is the leading cause of death among adolescent females. The health hazards associated with children having children can't and shouldn't be overlooked. The other thing is that people seem to normalize cheating to the point that loyalty is becoming a goal in a relationship when it should be a standard. The thing is that when men do it, people consider it as "normal" behavior of a man because his girl doesn't provide for his needs. For any reason, cheating is never okay. Whether cheating is being done by a man or a woman, there is no excuse for it to be considered a good thing to do. When you know you are already suffering from a relationship, physically, mentally, or spiritually, better get out of it in a legal manner. I don't believe in one article that says that women cheat because they lack empathy from their partner because something happened. Regardless of gender, we should never be okay with cheating. We may believe that some social rules are harmful to particular people, but they should be beneficial to the community as a whole. Norms keep society in order. It's hard to imagine how human civilization might function without social standards. Norms have an impact on how we interact with one another and, as a result, on the outcome of group engagement. However, in the most ways possible, we must understand each individual we have in society. We should consider the fact that not all of us wear the same shoes and we step on the same ground.

Why Is It Hard to Forgive? I haven't seen my father for almost two years now and it's been a year and a half since we last talked over text messages. Whenever I hear about his name or just his name was brought up in a conversation, I feel that loud heartbeat like the feeling of being alone in the dark and suddenly you saw someone who wants to stab you. It is so hard to move on and at the same time, whenever I think about how irresponsible and not-worthy of a father he is, I can honestly say that I regret living this life. Once someone betrays you in any way, you may believe you'll never be willing to forgive them. Even after your initial rage has subsided, you may choose to concentrate on the betrayal rather than allowing it to disappear from sight. Forgiveness develops to sentiments of empathy, sympathy, and understanding for the person who has wronged you. Forgiveness does not imply forgetting or dismissing the hurt you have suffered, nor does it imply making amends with the person who inflicted it. Forgiveness provides a sense of calm that allows you to go forward with your life. Forgiving someone isn't just a form of a few sentences that you say to someone and that's the end of it. Countless individuals consider forgiveness to be beneficial to the repentant person. It can undoubtedly make things better, but forgiving is most beneficial to you. I think that even though at most points, I consider myself to not bother that my father is not doing anything to fix the problems or doesn't even provide. At the end of the day, I still resent the fact that my mother had to catch all the work of being a father and a mother to both her children to the point she almost forgets to take care of herself. This is why I have so much respect for single parents because they do many things at once, especially the ones that don't really have anybody on their side to somehow rest for a while. It really is hard to predict what offenses or old triggers will make people feel bitter and furious, so using the balm of reconciliation as a preventive step, as a sort of investing in oneself and a more positive world might be beneficial. It's critical to realize that you may forgive others without renewing contact or resuming a relationship. Even though you know you'll never be able to have the same connection again, you can forgive someone. You may even need to avoid touch depending on the situation. People are programmed to revenge once they've been injured by another individual. Our self-esteem or pride has been harmed. Our hopes and ambitions have been dashed. At some point, the evil end of the stick is what people see to be able to move on. Those people who choose to hurt or, even, end other people's lives are the ones under such burden. Most of the time, we can't really blame these people since losing someone always makes us feel that the world has already turned its back on us, especially on the times where we lost our loved ones in the most painful situation. Forgiveness is a feature of human character that has changed over the centuries through natural selection. Forgiveness and retribution are social tendencies that primitive people used to overcome issues. Forgiveness may manifest in many ways. Although reconciliation can occur as part of the healing journey, forgiveness isn't just about reconciliation. When emotional forgiveness is accomplished, the person will have transformed unpleasant emotions like wrath, resentment, and desire for revenge with good emotions like sympathy, kindness, understanding, and selfless love, which are connected with bitterness and anger. Forcing yourself into a situation you don't really know if will benefit you or the others is nowhere near a good idea. Forgiveness is a decision, according to research. Some individuals are innately more forgiving than others. As a result, they are happier with their life and suffer from less melancholy, worry, tension, rage, and hostility. Personally, I think it's hard to forgive because of the fact that you are not satisfied in the current situation that the person that hurt you is in at the moment. At some point, you imagine that person in the worst way possible. Another reason can be that you still suffer from the pain and it's hard for you to say sentences that will affect both of you. You are constantly questioning yourself on what happened and why did everything happen. You may bark about the facts, but at the end of the day, you are still stuck in the same elevator that won't go up. It's rare that you'll be able to let go of your pain in a single sitting. It takes time, but you'll see that it's well worth the effort as you strive toward it.

Why You Should Think Before You Click? Technology is now an inextricable part of our lives. Standard internet use makes our lives easier, faster, and simpler. For kids to study during their lives, the Internet is a fantastic resource. Anyone may purchase things online with the aid of the internet. It links individuals from all around the world in a free and quick manner. Nowadays, nevertheless, enormous amounts of data are posted and downloaded through this electronic behemoth, and the material is indeed our own since we are all commenters, writers, and producers at this point. Since many people are capable of doing their own thing online, as it benefits either their pockets or humor, much information that is seen online is being seen by people who are amateurs in terms of validating the right versus the wrong ideas. The Internet had evolved from a simple means of exchanging information to a complex interdisciplinary tool that allowed people to produce content, engage with each other, and escape the reality of life. People can create a life that is comforting and suiting to the eyes of the people to the point where lies are being appreciated instead of correcting them. Instagram is one example of where people flex their lives in the most modern way possible. You may see a lot of accounts that show a series of pictures that allow people to appreciate the beauty of what they want to see. Currently, we can transport information from one end of the world to the other in seconds, give virtual talks, dwell in parallel "virtual worlds," and communicate our actual lives, our authentic identities, using photographs, video, voice, and writing. Individual tales are made public, and local concerns become international. Last week, my aunt went into a social media platform where she saw an advertisement that asks for a survey. On the ad, it says that after you answer the survey, you will get a mystery gift. But after submitting the form, there is a prize, however, it must be paid when it's delivered to the address given in the form. There is no backing in the situation since there is no option of canceling the order. This is an example of a false advertisement. False advertising is when someone gives you false or misleading information in order to persuade you to buy something or visit their business. Those that market and distribute goods must portray their goods, services, and pricing to you accurately. The logical theory underlying these arguments is that misinformation, even if it only affects a small group of individuals, unjustly stimulates the desire for the defendant's brand, resulting in increased pricing for all customers. This is why people, especially the older ones, should be taught the importance of "Think before you click." Since there are many posts and articles on the internet that are deceiving to the eyes of the audience, many people believe without researching about a certain topic that they see. A powerful message from an online safety ad aimed at preventing kids from overexposing themselves on social networking sites is to Think before you click. You lose control of a photograph once it is uploaded on the internet. It can be copied, changed, and presented in a variety of ways without your permission. Maintain control by just posting photos that you want everyone to view. Just like in life, before doing something, you have to think and reflect on what will happen when you do something. However, the internet has many eyes you will not see and since these eyes will never be affected, they are not concerned about what will happen to the victim.

The Reality of Having Trust Issues People who never experienced the pain that you are suffering will never understand the struggle. Some people may be there for you but will not exactly know the feeling so they can't give proper advice. Life struggles are not like illnesses where you can have doctors check on you to be able to identify the risks and possible solutions to your problems. Most people lack that form of communication with other people, even with the ones they love and trust, so they just keep everything to themselves. It is hard to say something private to somebody because you wouldn't know if you are being understood or just listened to for the sake of listening. For something to run, trust is required. It can have a significant impact on happiness. Fear reigns supreme without it. It's not an either/or situation when it comes to trust; it's an issue of degree. Trust issues are caused by a lot of things. But the result will always be one. You will have trauma. A person's capacity to trust people can be influenced by their life experiences. When you experienced that pain, you will be paranoid about a lot of things. Most of the time, you will feel that your partner or friend, or relative are betraying you, even if there is no reason for you to think not to. This hits very hard when you put a lot of effort into something or to someone and, even if you actually know that not everything goes to your plan, the worst happens, in the most painful way. I had a very close friend back in elementary days and we are actually close. All of that changed when I got into an argument with some of my classmates and the person I thought was supposed to be on my side was with them the entire time. I carried a burden on my shoulder for a lot of time after that, and I carried it until now that I'm about to graduate college. The worst part that I never complained about is that she never said sorry. She just talked to me like nothing happened. I know I made some mistakes during the fight but I know I was on the right side. The only issue is that I'm not a popular kid so no one was on my side that time. The pain that I had made me realize that I just to have friends in school but not outside of it because I don't want to be attached to other people whom I want to trust but will turn their backs on me anytime soon. Mistrust may be a powerful force in a person's life. Disappointment or betrayal in the past might be at the base of the problem. When you've been deceived or abandoned, it's natural to feel distrustful. However, widespread emotions of distrust can have a detrimental influence on a person's life. Anxiety, rage, or self-doubt may develop as a result of this. I honestly believe that abuse always comes in two forms, mental and physical. The one that I experienced, even though I can say that I had mental abuse during that time because it affected the way I think for my studies and about how people act around me, the physical abuse was also part of it because at some point I wanted to end my life. In this period of uncertainty, world turbulence, separation, and broken family life, it's becoming increasingly difficult to stay vulnerable, trusting, and open to life. We may have people we can talk to, friends or strangers, however, even here, things might be difficult at times. Having a broken family can result in a lot of things. Most people can't handle the situation and will not have an immediate and accurate response to a problem because you will feel the world on your shoulders. In my point of view, I know that cheating will occur in any gender since some people only think about themselves and do not care about the people that will get hurt, but since I have a father who cheated and abandoned us, I lost trust in men. Although I do talk to men, I don't want to be around one even if I know he will never lay a finger on me. The importance of trust in an intimate relationship cannot be overstated. Because it fosters a good emotional connection between partners based on affection, love, and loyalty, trust may be thought of as the glue that binds a relationship together. There are a variety of conditions that might lead to distrust and suspicion in one or both partners throughout the course of a relationship. People's emotions toward a partner's dishonesty and lying are largely influenced by their previous experiences with parents who have violated their trust. The inner dialogue has a tremendous effect on mistrust, questions, and concerns. We have become less inclined to seek love and fulfillment in a relationship if we mistrust ourselves, perceive ourselves as insufficient, or are skeptical toward other individuals. When we finally meet someone who truly loves and respects us, we may get worried because their good perception of us contradicts our terrible self. There can is no doubt that trust can be rebuilt again. However, it will take a lot of adjustments, not just on oneself but also the environment one is living in. The person must discover the essential inner voices that continue to feed distrust and keep them locked in the past in order to repair trust after a betrayal. Forgiveness is made possible through empathy with other people.

Quality before Quantity I have been binged watching a lot of Gordon Ramsay shows throughout the school works that I do because his accent and yelling are actually soothing to my ears. It might not sound right but it keeps me focused with something in the background. But as I take a break from my works, I noticed many things about how he is as a chef in both Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares. One thing is passion. When you do something that you love, you know you can't put something up with zero finesse. You will always pinpoint even the smallest detail because you want everything to be perfect. That's what I have noticed when I started to finish out the project that I worked on. The small details like the position of an image, the height and width of a box and even how properly linear-gradient colors are equally distributed for a website, I want everything to be good to look at. Same thing in life. When you clean your room and you clean it for the sake that you want everything to be organized and properly placed, you will notice gaps inch by inch. However, if you just clean it without the energy of having it cleaned, it will not come out as clean. Passion comes with love. You can't say that you are an expert in a profession without putting in the best effort into every detail that you do. Thinking about money can be the root of many mistakes. When you are in the restaurant industry and you are concerned about how many pieces of shrimps every customer must get and not on how the food will taste good, you can't be in the food industry. It is hard for people to understand that if a customer likes your product, even if he will not come back to buy one more, the word of mouth that he will do will attract more customers. It might even be put on the news for tourists to try. Perfection is everything. Even if there is a saying that "Nobody's perfect.", you must always thrive for perfection. It will be hard to achieve but if you put the effort and passion to drive that car, you will reach your destination. I have seen people who became so professional in their work because they always practice and they are concerned to bring out the best skill they can give. Some people fail in their choice of the field because all they think of is the reward they want after their work. Although at some point, we are not experiencing the same situation, some people live in the most dangerous way possible, some are in the middle who are "okay" in life and some people are living comfortably, we must always think of what will benefit us and will also benefit the others. As Ramsay said in one episode of Hell's Kitchen Season 19, "Make love to your food.". There is much advice that Ramsay has given contestants in his show but that is one of the best ones so far. The fact that he was pointing out a chef for doing a dish so fast to the point he failed in his first challenge, but at the same time, he was advising him to become a better version of himself by tomorrow, is always a good motivation. The quality of work is always what people look at. It is where the value of something is born. This is why the dead people with works who touched the lives of many people like Stan Lee are still being loved and remembered is because he cared about his work and the people around him.

The Approach of Parents on their Kids I honestly can confirm that after all the years I have been with my mother, she is a big influence on who I am right now, positively and negatively. I actually think that it's how the parents behaved that will be inherited by kids and will add to that behavior they will show towards them and to other people. There are a lot of causes that a kid sees, hears, and understands that will explain how they behave, however, it will all start in the house. My parents were very strict towards me since I was a kid. I am not that allowed to be outside to somehow meet new kids but I didn't say it in a negative manner. On contrary, it added to that introvert-individual on me. Growing up, I would rather be inside the house instead of going out with my friends most of the time. For safety, it was a great move but it was not for the fact that I don't know many people, even the near neighborhood. On the positive side, I noticed how my parents, even my father who I hate right now, behave kindly to the point that other people will actually don't believe they could do such evil things. Actually, my mother is a real person. I am not exaggerating since I know it's how she can be described. She is that woman who would rather keep every story in the house instead of bringing it up to other people, especially the ones whom she doesn't trust. She is also not allowing up to curse which is the best part for me. Although I hear her sometimes curse but it is all due to immediate response to some problems. I love how she is very strict with her rules and me and my brother are benefiting from it. Children mirror their conduct after their parents, and it's possible that if they grow up in homes without norms or language of doing tasks simultaneously since it is vital for the future, they'll develop bad habits. Parents with such bad influence must not be surprised when kids tend to behave differently the way they want them to. Kids easily take actions and words from people since, in their minds, everything is right until someone tells them it's not. It completely changes as they grow up since they start to feel different emotions that tend to either hurt or satisfy them. Some parents think that what they want is the right way on most times for their kids when it's not. Children mirror their conduct after their parents, and it's possible that if they grow up in homes without norms or language of doing tasks simultaneously since it is vital for the future, they'll develop bad habits. It is undeniable that parents can and often do affect their offspring. There is also strong evidence that a child's genetic makeup determines their own behavioral features as well as how their family treated them. When deciding about a subject, you must always look left and right in case you don't want an accident to happen. When we think of child growth and teaching, we typically think of schooling and organizations beyond the family. As a result, the role of parents has become somewhat marginalized. Kids tend to spend less time at school and more time with their parents and caregivers. Even when they are not providing care, parents play an important role across the whole of their children's lives. A reward system is one way to encourage good behavior. Kids who learn that poor behavior is not considered acceptable and that appropriate behavior is praised are developing life skills. I have a younger brother and as I see it, he gets excited to do stuff he finds boring like studying. Either I say to him that if he can finish his Math assignments in the right way, he will immediately play his games without me interrupting him. Kids will learn that for every right thing they do. They will get rewarded every time. I actually wish for that to be as easy for grown-ups. There are some key points I have learned from my mother as a single parent. Acknowledge your child's physical or emotional personality traits, whether they are quiet and reserved, interpersonal, sociable, or energetic. Even though parents tend to discipline their kids physically, their young ones still grow up as kind people, but this method does not apply to every kid so always look on different sides. My brother and I have never experienced physical methods of discipline but we grew up not being as spoiled as we expected to be. It will always depend on the kids. The fundamental character can be altered slightly, but not significantly. I am not a parent myself but I do notice most things that adults do since if ever I will have a kid, I have some points that I will do and some actions I must do in case it doesn't go the right way.

Why You Should Continue Studying? Some students may not like the fact that they endure lessons after lessons for every year they decide to pursue the higher grade of the education system. Some may just do it for the sake of they must do it. Some study because they have a goal in life. And some came back because they want that title of completing elementary to college days. There are a lot of reasons why you should continue putting your foot forward when it comes to studying. One of the reasons is that there are parts in younger grades that may have been already forgotten moments that will benefit the future. As I was helping my younger brother do his stuff for school, I completely question some of the things I teach him because it wasn't a "normal routine" for me when it comes to lessons. I already had those lessons back then so I thought somehow I know them, but it was the opposite. I had to go back to my younger days to be able to teach him the proper solutions to problems and how these results happen. It was something that brought me up to enhance my brain and to know that these simple things may be a thing for future references. The educational system focuses on teaching us how to acquire necessary analytical and logical thinking skills, as well as how to work well independently. People are not only capable of forming their own opinions, but they are also adept at locating strong and dependable arguments and facts to back up and verify their choices. More reasons that participate in the idea of continuing your study include job employment. Job hunting is difficult, especially in these difficult economic times. For a vacant position, you may have to compete with hundreds of other candidates. If you have the right qualifications and educational background, you will have a better chance of landing a rewarding job. Individuals with a strong level of education and a diverse range of experience are more likely to land high-paying, professional employment. Credentials are what will persuade a prospective employer to hire you over another candidate. I also find it attractive and respectful when people can speak things that make sense. People with so much in their mind tend to be able to get confident in what they do since they know better and they can teach younger ones the right things to do. For example, Gordon Ramsay. He is one of the best culinary cooks in the world and as I watch him in Hell's Kitchen, I can confirm that his education level is what I admire the most, even when it's not on the cooking side. Not only does he care what the customers need as they pay lots of money to dine in his restaurants, but he also trains and teaches his cooks to be the better version of themselves. I find that level of passion and maturity a good thing in which every leader must possess. People who are educated understand the importance of living in a peaceful and predictable community. They are more likely to participate in projects that benefit not just their gated community but also society. Learning is the foundation to transforming a flaw into a strength. It provides various tools and methods for understanding and resolving problems that lie ahead of us. Education provides all of these and much more, whether it is about respect, a higher position in society and a professional environment, financial security, or family stability. Home stability provided by owning a home helps children who grew up in their own houses or apartments succeed. Also, I would like to add that having an education does not give people the credibility to look down on those who didn't make it to the final stage of learning. It must be used to teach those people so they can able to learn the things they missed and will enable that motivation on them to go back to school.

@stellaluna

What's Your Goal? Everyone has that dream that they always want to achieve. Like if you like singing, probably your goal is to have your concert where you can sing your songs to all your supporters. If you like cooking, then probably your dream is to either work for a chef that inspires you or to own your very own restaurant. If you like the medical field, then you probably want to end up working in a hospital or have your medical facility to treat people. During our younger youth, we all had specific dreams that we want to achieve. It may be inspired by the ones we see on television shows or movies, or it might be from a book we had read before or we just find it a great job to land on. When I was a kid, my dream was actually to be a doctor. It was like a general dream for most kids. The only problem that I had before was I am afraid of blood. It just got into my mind that I can't be a doctor or do my job as a doctor properly if I'm afraid of blood. I heard some people who are afraid of blood that became medical professionals but for me, I don't think I can support the dream if I'm not able to do something concerning treatment. It all changed since I noticed that I am not getting nervous whenever I see blood. Changes happen every time. The dream also changed. As I transition to Senior High School, I knew that I have to pick the path that I like to be able to get that motivation and passion for future work. I know in myself that my mother is not a fan of me getting into the technology field but at least, I had her support on it which I am very happy about. Since I took a Computer Science path where there is so much at stake and so many doors to open for me to be able to focus on one skill at a time, I felt overwhelmed. At 21, I feel that I am so much behind everybody else. I feel like most teenagers my age are already seeing and understanding the path that they want to go to so they are focused on developing the skills for it. On my side, I am constantly in part of so many skills that are still with the computer world but in different manners. I had read so many articles and journals, where they are giving the youth, advice like choosing a specific track and just improving that for the better you. And it made me upset to the point that I had to stop everything. It was hard to find the passion back since you cannot only focus on yourself. There will always be something that will go along your way and if I try to break that down without thinking about the people around me, I would look like a selfish person. I have a goal in life. I have skills that I want to master. Unfortunately, I can't see any room for improvement.

@stellaluna

Each Story has Two Sides I love books. I love how an author can make the readers get inside their story just by writing words and turning them into a story. I love everything about what the book gives and how it matters to most of us, either fiction or non-fiction. However, in real life, it doesn't seem to be always right. Most of the readers probably already encounter books or stories online that have the POV or Point-of-View narrative. It is when a story is told by one person by his/her eyes and understanding. These type of stories tells aside to be either believed or questioned by the reader because it doesn't show how the other characters in that story see the situations. At some point, I do like this way of telling a story. It is biased but most of the time, in a positive manner. It makes the reader know how the character acts, thinks, and does actions just by how he/she approaches and interprets a situation, especially the plot twists encountered. On contrary, it enables a reader to learn that by having that kind of story-telling, you always have to look at both sides. It is infuriating when you have a different emotion on how you look at a problem and just understand one side rather than the whole picture. I have encountered situations where I hear people who only want to hear their side of the story. I shut my mouth most of the time because I know they are not going to be ready for an argument. And since I'm the younger one, it will always look like I'm the bad one because older ones think that they are always right and I have to have respect for them, even if what they do and say is wrong. I had a moment once where I had to tell a relative that whenever she speaks loudly, it will always sound like she's arguing. The reason is that I know people speak loud either if the other person or audience doesn't hear it or you are making yourself the better one by raising your voice. She doesn't understand that. She always says that it's her natural speaking voice when it's not. I am a quiet person so I know the normal side of people versus the side where their emotions come together. Arguing with people like them shows how down society is when it comes to understanding the basics. Arguments should always come with all the details that matter. It's like a debate where two attorneys look at different things and not just focus on one side. The difference is that in simple arguments, you can't fight when you know you're already wrong, however, people will always do everything to make them right. It just so happens that the ones who are right just let go of everything rather than argue more. One more thing about the importance of looking at two sides of a story is that a person will act and think differently is when something happened in the past. It will always matter in situations. An American serial killer by the name of Aileen Wuornos grew up in a not-so-good home. She had been through a lot of different situations where a child should not experience at a very young age. Her story can be the epitome of how traumas can lead you to do evil things. Apparently, in court, you can't always fight when people will start looking at things differently to the point that they will not believe you and starts making a story about you. Hearing stories will never be a waste of time. It can be when the story is unrealistic. But when a depressed person starts opening up to you, listen to them. It's hard for us to speak up since we are looked at as "over-dramatic" people.

@stellaluna

Toxic Environment It is really hard to bring back the motivation that you had when you start to build yourself for the better. There are a lot of obstacles you will really go into and fight everything that goes along the way. Starting 2021 was really a great thing for me. I had a lot of ups and downs but I will admit that the ups are the best thing that happened to me. I thought that it will go as the days pass by but I was wrong. It's the first in my life that I have to live in an environment where people only care about themselves. I had the idea that I will pursue a passion I've always wanted to do and also a career that is somehow new to me but I am optimistic about it. I already had a lineup of classes I have been attending to and it went great. I started to learn things and improve the knowledge that I had to be able to become a better me. But it is not always rainbows and ponies. I live in an area where people think they are superior to me just because they are "older" than me. I know that as you grow old, you understand more things about life. Apparently, that's not the case for most people here. As long as it benefits them, they don't care about everybody else. Well, sometimes, they actually care but deep inside, I know that they are only doing that to show off and not actually help the ones in need. Living in a toxic environment will be always challenging. You will have people who would rather take than give. I appreciate people who actually do care and think ahead in every situation but you also understand situations and how they happened. You cannot judge a situation based on how you think it is. This is why I don't talk at most times because I need to know every detail about it. Your thought isn't always the right one. One thing that I also noticed is that some people are too proud of themselves. I know that there are times in life where you should be proud of but bragging about it as if it makes you far ahead of everyone is not a healthy thing. Especially when you don't actually achieve anything in life, you can't talk above people. Education is what everybody needs and unfortunately, it was given to people who don't deserve it. I think people underestimate the fact that I'm an introverted person. Part of being that person who doesn't talk too much is that I listen too much. I analyze every person based on how they talk and treat everybody at the table. If you're the kind of person who makes yourself a good person by making someone look bad, then you're not a good person as you think you are. Unless the person does the same to you, you might as well show how unbothered you are about it. Lastly, I think going out of your comfort zone isn't always about what you do, it's also about where you live to do what you need to do.

@stellaluna

The Daughter Will Suffer When I was a kid, I didn't feel that my father is not a good father towards me. In fact, everything he says makes sense and I totally believe in it. We didn't have that much bond but I can say that if we do, I can still remember every moment of it. But it did change as I transition to college. After high school graduation, I got really scared since I was moving to a city that is very new to me and I had no one else since I don't know anyone in there. I also took irregular classes where I have to sit in classes that is totally different from my field except on my major subjects. But at the same time, it was a great experience for me since I know I can't always be inside my comfort zone. Everyone has to embrace change to be able to reach that goal. I have to say that the reason I got into that university is because of my father. I know my mother doesn't really like the fact that I am going to the city but she wants me to pursue a degree in a place where there are a lot of opportunities, so I think that's what made her say yes. From the moment I step into my college life, I admit that I was so focused on my studies that I forgot what's really happening in my family. The first thing that really didn't make sense as I have to live in a dormitory instead of a house where my father lives. He's not a threat since he never laid his hands on my mother so there's nothing wrong if we live together under the same roof. Actually, the dorm I was staying in belongs to my grandfather so it's also a safe place for me, and all my rooms on that floor are occupied by women so another safer feeling. I don't talk too much since I don't want other people to think that I am a sort of "pick-me" girl so I just let them talk to me first before I talk to me. And that is my biggest downfall. As I don't like to question things most of the time, I suffer a lot. I already had people messaging me, saying that my father had a lot of women during the times I was still in high school and as I went to college, he started to live under a roof with one woman. I didn't believe in any of it until I realized that the woman already sent me a message before. When I found out, I confronted the woman but instead of realizing the wrong in the situation, she just went with it and just live with it. I didn't even get a sorry from my father. Cheating is always a choice. And it hurts when you already have a family. After what my father did, my trust issues went higher. I always feel like every time I got a chance to talk to a guy, I will always end up getting hurt so I don't attach myself to guys anymore. I don't like to flirt, even on social media sites since I know that they are all lying. I know that you don't always have to believe in everything you see and hear on social media and it's always a problem. I'm trying to build that trust back but it seems to not heal. I may just live the rest of my life by myself instead of having a partner who will just love another one.

@stellaluna

Grandpa Life is not short. It is time that tells us that everything moves so fast. It is so fast that for every second that goes by, we miss something we could have done. I was not that close with my grandfather as I am with my grandmother. I can tell that I didn't spend that much time with him but I could say that I had laughs and giggles with him with the moments we are together. The first time I actually felt the presence that I need him was during Christmas church gatherings. We always go to church to pray and after that, we will buy some snacks and it felt like a wonderful time for us. He was one of those people who got recognized for always going to church so he became part of this organization for older men. They had so many events and my grandpa always bring me, and sometimes my cousin, with him to witness the fun. Those events were memorable to me since I got to go to places I never knew I would be in. I got to taste delicious food without having the struggle of being shy in front of other people. I think that's where I got the love of being around older people rather than with the ones my age. I also got to be outside since my parents are not really allowing me to spend time with the outside world, which on the one side is okay for me since I enjoy being alone. It's like my grandpa always bring the world to me during the times I thought I already knew the environment. But just like any other person on the planet, my grandpa does things that make my blood boil. It was not on the point that he hurt me physically but the emotional stress I got, and also our family got when he decided to find love once again, is really a nightmare for us. I know that in life we are not supposed to make a barrier with the people who are finding love but as to my grandpa's situation, he even decided one time to sell the house, the home which all of us knew, to be able to support his woman. Well, he got blind afterward so it didn't happen. At some point, I think God just did that to him to be able to stop him from doing unnecessary things. Even though being blind is not always a good thing but I just think, it's a good thing that it happened to him. We decided to move into their house last February 2021. There were a lot of verbal arguments that happened but I would say that my grandpa, at some point, was okay to be with. Even though he's not the best, he's still a family. These wonderful moments stopped when one night after I sat him down for bed, I felt that he might have a fever. I told my mother about it so we made him drink his medicine. He became okay after that but when the sun came out again for the morning, his fever came back to the point that we had to rush him to the hospital. I felt the world on my shoulders when that happened. After a few days, we got a phone call from the hospital saying that he is Covid 19 positive. We didn't exactly know what to do since we can't leave him in the hospital or an area to isolate him since he is blind and can't do most of the work. The hospital allowed us to be home quarantined so my mom can take care of him. I was okay about it, even though I don't get to hug and be with my mom. It was going well. My mom managed to take care of him. But after a few days of battle, he said goodbye. It was the most devasting day of my life. I felt like all the work my family had to do to keep him breathing went downhill. I didn't manage to listen to class since I'm feeling the sadness within me and I can't focus. I wanted him to see my college graduation and hard work after college so I can help to cure his eyes. We didn't have to money to do the cremation so we had to bury him simply. It is still pandemic so we have to be practical on things. I was not able to say the last goodbye to him. I know he is already happy with my grandma in heaven. I hope he guides us during our worst times and be with us during the happiest moments of our lives. I love you, Grandpa.

Fighting Fire with Fire We all have a fire within us. Some light up so fast, some may take some time, and some just cause a whole lot of damage. In order for that fire to light up, there will be some tools needed. Unlike the fire that most of us see on stoves, from a gas tank, the old way of doing it makes more sense. The first thing to do is to get some wood. In modern times, especially when you are living in the city, it may be hard to find and have some wood since the forest cannot be seen in most cities. Since technology has made our lives easier, we stick to the things that we consider more efficient and require less work. On the other hand, the urban surely, for once in their lives, made fire from wood. So what is the big difference when it comes to the fire from the stovetop to the fire from a wood? On the stovetop, obviously, you are in charge of how high or low you want the fire to light, unlike lighting fire from a block of wood, it won't be controlled easily. Just like in life, lighting fire from a block of wood requires a lot of work, not just from getting the tools themselves, but also the work on the fire itself. This is where the problem comes in. When you get into an argument that has a lot of problems to talk about and solve, the smoke within you starts to blow up. You will burst out in flames without you knowing it. It will be hard to control especially when anger is taking over you to the point that you only want to win, rather than to understand the point of the argument. The reason why we get into an argument is that two parties don't seem to understand or know what is the right thing, either by action or knowledge. Just like in court, besides proving if the prosecuted is guilty, the parties involved are required to tell the story to know the journey before getting to the point of the crime. Although at some times, money is the key to get out of a crime, karma will come along. The fact that people don't bother to argue because of money is difficult to understand and comprehend. Fighting an argument by another argument is always the solution to the problem. If we are to fight in the other way, it will never stop there. It will be the cause of a bigger problem. There are people who are very hard to talk to. Some people tend to listen to themselves only and consider themselves as the right one in every sense of the way. You can't easily win on these people because they don't like people teaching them the right things. In most cases, the hand is only the solution to wake them up. I will understand if they're lawyers in court but they're not. And that's their biggest downfall.

People Who Mocked God As you all know, Christianity is one of the most popular religions around the world. In this religion, religious people share the life and teachings of Jesus with people who also believe in Him. There are many Catholic Saints who have claimed to see God and were able to spread the word about it. Most of these saints are documented as people who have performed a miracle for once in their life to be able to declare as a Holy Person. The literal definition of having a piece of evidence to see God is not always the case so having a new saint requires a generous amount of time of dedication and documentation to be able to know the life and story of one human being. But besides those who actually believe in God, there are some people who turned their backs against Him, in a way that it is so hard to believe the reason why they did it. You probably know some of these people and may be able to tell the consequences they had after mocking God. **John Lennon** You may have heard of Lennon as one of the members of one of the most popular bands in the world, the Beatles. The band was able to sell millions of copies of their albums and made lots of people sing and jam to their songs. Up to this day, their name is still being recognized and acknowledged by the music industry. As part of being famous, people often forgot about the meaning of life. And even though not everyone believes in God, respect for Him and His name must be done. Just like how Catholics respect other people's beliefs and religion, the same must be done by non-Catholics. Even though Lennon was not reported to be a Catholic, he and his family often go to church and was performing in a choir during his childhood. However, in March 1966, he made a statement that made a shocking scandal up until modern times. His exact words were "It will vanish and shrink….We’re more popular than Jesus now.". At that time, Lennon believed that Christianity was sinking and rock 'n roll will take over the world. By December 1980, Lennon was shot four times by a man named Mark David Chapman as he enters a luxury apartment at The Dakota, New York. According to the killer, he was angered by Lennon's public figure and lifestyle, as well as his recent statement that made headlines. Chapman was an obsessed fan of The Beatles, but it clearly shows that he is truly in more love with his faith rather than with another human being. The killing was not right, in my opinion, but at the same time, a statement like that from Lennon is never right. It clearly shows that pride and popularity have taken over him and was not able to deliver a positive message towards his supporters. His ego and pride by how successful The Beatles became gave him the time of death. **Stephen Hawking** As one of the most popular scientists in the world after Einstein, you probably have heard of Stephen Hawking once in your life. You probably saw him in news as a guy who is in a wheelchair. That situation happened after his fall while ice skating and was diagnosed with "**degenerative motor neuron disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)"** and was even told that he could only live for two more years. He made books dedicated to Science itself and was even seen in movies. As a person who is dedicated to Science, it might be obvious that about 80% of these types of people are most likely to believe in the law of science rather than the Bible itself. From the moment Science had become a thing in life, it contradicted how life began. The Bible has its own interpretation and story of how the world began and that is by God making the living and non-living things. As for Science, the world was made by the Big Bang Theory (not the TV show). It almost implies, not just the world, but how the universe was made. Either way, you decide on what you believe but on the other side, how can we possibly tell how the world began when the existence of dinosaurs has more evidence than the beginning of the world. As Hawking, who believes more in science than religious beliefs, once wrote, "I have no desire to offend anyone of faith, but I think science has a more compelling explanation than a divine creator." Unlike the previous person, Hawking's statement towards the existence of the Creator is not that appalling, however, for an individual to say that until the end of time, a possibility of God's existence will never be true is never a right statement. According to Hawking, "For me, this means that there is no possibility of a creator because there is no time for a creator to have existed in." As I've said before, if we have no faith in God as the Catholics do, we don't have to put up unnecessary statements that are against Him. Even though we have the freedom to say our own beliefs, it comes with responsibility with respect towards other people. Some people may accept it, some people may not, and some may have something to say rather than a curse word. **Tancredo Neves, Former President of Brazil** Politics, every now and then, are always a topic when it comes to negative issues surrounding a country. Whether it talks about a dictator who just wants the best for himself/herself, about illegal organizations that are still operating despite having laws against it, about the decisions being made in terms of a country crisis, or about corruption itself. When you are elected or running for a leadership position, it is not uncommon that most likely you are trained to be as tough and intelligent as you can be. As you are to become a leader, you must always put yourself in a position where everyone is happy and comfortable. However, that is not always the case. Not all people are nice so we do have leaders who don't listen. *"If I get 500,000 votes from my party, not even God would remove me from Presidency." - Neves* In 1984, Neves ran for presidency with the help of Ulysses Guimaraes, a Brazilian politician. And from the above statement, you can see how sure he is that people will vote for him and that he will win. Well, in fact, he did get the votes but was not put into position as he fell ill before formally announcing him as the new president. Now for me, if I were to vote at that time, I consider it as a red flag already. How in the world can you trust someone who had that kind of ego that will blow off the roof of any house in Brazil. I understand that maybe at some point, you and your works might be popular but to see yourself as the top of it all was never a good idea. Technically, God didn't remove him, he made himself removed from the position.

Does Your Vote Matters? *Setting: The Philippines, where positions are seen as power rather than responsibility.* Living in a society when people in government offices are seen as powerful as they can be is one of the worst scenarios in life. People who are handled by the government or are sitting in a chair where many people can be controlled are more likely to see themselves as queens and kings of an area. Don't get me wrong, I know a lot of people who do their jobs and help the people, as well as the community. But on top of the top, there is much evil ruining the atmosphere. During the last election that happened here in the Philippines where the lower to middle sectors when it comes to government positions are voted, I was one of the voters. And from my perspective, it was not as magical or as powerful as I thought it would be. As I was finding room for me to do my votes, I have heard a lot of conversations that talk about the people who are nominated. And since in every election, there will be groups and individuals who can run, people are distributing lots of papers containing the names of those who are in a group. In my view, I voted those people who I see as good as they can be. Although I have to admit, I voted the people who turned out to be nothing when it comes to properly do their job as the voice of the community. And that is the wrong action that still haunts me up to this day. But on top of that, I'm still proud of those who make sense in their positions. As we live in the modern era, it will be hard to "cheat" when it comes to the number of votes. Although I may say that somehow, some people out there are really intelligent on the technology itself. But anyway, still votes are validated properly this time. Now my take on people voting people. I voted on the area in the city because I have to and I'm required to. As I went back to my place after voting which is like a 4-hour trip, it was a completely different story. I have heard different news that is shocking but is truly happening in life. The first one is that people are getting blind over money. They don't care about how these people who they want to be in positions are not worthy of the power. At some point, I had the idea of getting the money and still pushing for the votes I want, especially since people don't know me in the area I am voting in. But unfortunately, in my area of being born, it is not the case. Since in this area, there are very few people, they know each other inside and up to the farthest relative they have. And it might be hard to change votes since violence is a normal thing for people with wealth and power. There is this movie where it talks about elections in urban places. And one scene is that this main character catches one woman who happens to give money to a family to vote the names written on the given paper. He then punched the woman since he realized that she was one of the "people" of his soon-to-be mayor. The woman was faking her pregnancy to be able to get that sympathy from people. And the movie is an indie film, it reflects the true story of what happens in life. I got vaccinated last week and I had my vaccination where the Mayor goes there every day to see the people. And the funny thing is that the Parish Priest told him straight to his face, questioning him about his presence and if that presence is because the elections are coming. I wanted to see the faces of those who hear that statement and for sure, the Mayor himself got awkward in that scene. The Priest is right, to be honest. Since online classes are the new norm today, I didn't bother to go back to the city for my classes and during my stay here, I haven't seen him except if he has visitors visiting his villa, which is not that far from my place. In my experience, I'll be able to say that most of the time, the votes matter but voters don't exercise their rights to vote. And that's the biggest problem today.

Urban Legends What's an urban legend that surely amazed you or even made you believe that this might be true at some point? It might be an urban legend that came from your area of living or another part of the world. Urban legends are circulated stories that are believed to be true. Some are even too good to be true when it comes to plot and everything around it. Most urban legends came from stories with wild imaginations to the point where these stories are interesting to tell and scared to know. Most stories are actually from the native and since documenting certain issues wasn't a thing back then, it is hard to gather and understand specific details on how an urban legend started. But since people like stories, horror stories most likely, we tend to know them even if we don't believe in them. As I like to hear podcasts about horror flicks, I came across some of the most insane urban legends. Here are some stories that might interest you: *"Skinwalkers"* If you're into the horror genre, this might be a new thing for you, if you never encountered a story like this. We all know cannibalism is a thing, which is considered to be an illegal action towards mankind, and it is still happening. Maybe it might not have been seen or heard on the news but in some parts, it still occurs. By the way, if you ever came across the Navajo Nation, saying the word "Skinwalkers" is taboo. It is believed that saying the word, draws the attention of the creature itself. So what is the Skinwalker? Many believed that these creatures are shape-shifting creatures. It is hard to believe that this part of humanity and many suspects that they are most likely physically structured as an extraterrestrial identity. There was one case regarding the identity of skinwalkers when a Navajo woman was found dead. Fatal stab wounds were found all over her upper torso, her left breast was seen bitten off and her face was barely recognizable. The identity of the woman was a housekeeper and that night was her first time working a night shift. Later on, an English professor named Geroge Abney was arrested and confessed to the crime. However, the man is having difficulty when it comes to mental health since he can't distinguish the difference between dreams and reality. At some point, he explained about the prophecies of God and at other times, it was about the skinwalker. A year later, Abney was released from prison because of his "innocence". On my research, it is believed to have a lack of evidence, and even if Abney already confessed to the crime, his mental capability is disrupting the case. The case was reopened and up to this day, no one is responsible for the crime. On the other hand, some people have claimed to see a skinwalker, themselves. A biochemist named Colm Kelleher claimed to be one large creature in the shape of human spying on his research team on the night of March 12, 1997. Even when he said that the creature is about 50 yards away, he can see the yellow light on its unblinking eyes. He said that he fired at it but it went off in just a blink of an eye. What do you think about this creature? *"The Dudleytown"* This one interests me. Like when I read about this one, I felt like it can be turned into a TV series. It's one of the stories where it goes on into anyone who falls for it. It's like a curse that will never die. Located in Connecticut, United States, Dudleytown is known as an abandoned settlement. Many people like to consider it as a ghost town now, considering that no people at living in the area. And due to illegal activities like vandalism and trespassing, the government has decided to close it. Back in the day, the horrifying crimes started when a man named Edmund Dudley was beheaded after fighting for the alleged overthrow of King Henry VIII. After the murder, a curse has been put on the Dudley clan as it will go on for generations. The family will experience bad luck in their lives. Needless to say, they all experienced horrifying scenes in their lives. After the incidents in the Dudley clan, several residents have left the area and never came back. By the way, the Dudleytown is never believed to be a town, but an isolated part of Cornwall. Fast forward to modern civilization, people who have been in the area have experienced terrible things. These include seeing dark shadows and disembodied voices. Few experts tried going to the area and want to debunk the idea of such scenes. In such a small place to live in, experts have no clue on how this small community has so many deaths. Many people were reported to experience trauma and some became insane for unknown reasons. Although the experts say that the idea of the curse being on Dudleytown was never true, reports are still ongoing by that time. By the 1900s, the area was never seen with people living in it. Disturbing stories began in the 1940s. It started when visitors took photographs of strange things and see ghosts from the woods. There were even reports of lights coming from nowhere, the feeling of being touched, scratched, pushed, and watched by some creatures, and the negative atmosphere is all over the place. Do you ever want to go to Dudleytown, in case it reopens for the public?

Master the Art of Being Alone Extroverts might have a hard time understanding this. Since most likely, they enjoy their time more with people and talking and interacting with one another. However, introverts will agree on what I have to say. Being alone means a lot of things. It comes with the idea of having your hobby, making yourself comfortable and happy in a way that only you can understand, and do things on your own. Most of the time, I most likely find myself being happy on my own rather than going out with other people, even with my friends. Although I kind of missed talking with them and us, going to places, at the same time, I enjoy the time with myself. On the other hand, being alone also comes with negative things. Ever since I was a kid, I find myself lacking the ability to interact with people. I keep my mouth shut most of the time to the point where if no one talks to me then I won't talk unless I'm being asked or someone wants to have a conversation with me. Even with a circle of friends, I prefer a small group. I don't know any idea about hanging out with more than 5 people and sometimes I think, some of them might not be true to one another. However, I think it's about maturity, if you can handle mature stuff, in every sense of the word, then having a lot of friends is okay. But I don't think this applies to kids and teenagers most of the time. Kids must interact with other kids, build the friendship and bond that they're looking for, and enjoy things in life. And for a kid to stay in an area that doesn't have more kids to play with is not a good sign. For me, I experienced that but it isn't because I experience terrible things at home, I just prefer to be on my own. And by that, growing up, it's hard to make friends since you didn't practice it when you were a kid. I still have the attitude of not talking to a person unless the person talks to me and that's because of the reason that they might not like me. Having the idea of the person taking the initiative to talk to you, as an introvert, means that they like to chat and has a positive vibe towards you. I also want to talk about having trust issues. So I most likely judge a person's behavior and way of talking since I got trauma from people who tend to look and talk like they're kind and honest. And by that, I have a hard time believing someone, especially it's the first time we talked. On the positive side, being alone is having fun, on your own. It gives you a lot of time to think about yourself. To know more about you and what you want to do, in your day-to-day life. Since you don't have to talk to someone most of the time, all you have is yourself. You may not physically talk to yourself but your mind tends to tell you something, maybe about your future or about yourself. It also gives you peace of mind, unless people around you at your house are all talkative then that is another case. As an introverted person, I will tell you things that you can do to still have that positive attitude, even with being alone. When going to public places where people are likely to escort you, in any form of way, say "Thank You.". It gives both of you a positive vibe towards one another and you're likely to be considered polite and understanding. Always be mindful of your surroundings. If they don't care much about your presence then it's a good thing, you're most likely to not be a target if something happens. Also, know the place or area. However, if the otherwise occurs, move to the place that has a lot of people, they won't notice it or in some luck, they will consider you as part of them until strange things disappear. Never deal with your phones unless you find them the only ones making you laugh. If phones are your go-to place to escape the real world then so be it. It helps you get relaxed and stop or lessen the negative vibes. Smile or bow as an interaction. As an introverted person, I don't say "Hello" or "Hi" to most people but smile or doing a bow is a good thing. All people are judgmental anyway, but still, make yourself as if people will run to you and remember you in case they're in trouble. Always be mindful of yourself and the people you love. Being alone doesn't always being mean being lonely. Always take care of yourself and be nice to other people, unless they're not nice then do otherwise.

Things that Feels Illegal to Know You know that feeling that sometimes you just want to be Joker or Harley Quinn in real life because people are testing your patience. I do have some imaginations that at some point I'm doing illegal things like robbing a bank or even hurting someone. But of course, I'm not that kind of a violent girl in life but surely, there will be times that I have to do things to survive. I'm going to talk about and share some information that makes sense but at the same time, it can cause trouble in a normal manner. *"Injecting an empty syringe to a person."* Medical professionals always have a way to inject something into our bodies using syringes and probably, most experience having something inside. Or in vise verse, empty syringes are used to get blood or blood samples. But have you ever imagined what will happen when an empty syringe is injected into a body? Not technically empty, since it is still filled with air. Now two things I have to confirm, either you're safe or you will be in a dangerous position. If the syringe is injected into muscle tissue, according to experts, nothing will happen. Although you may notice bloat it will fade eventually. However, if the syringe is injected into a vein, then that's a big problem. This is called "Air Embolism". Since there is still "air" in that syringe, as one or more bubbles enter the vein to block it, gas bubbles in the bloodstream will cause problems to the heart or brain. This may result in a heart attack. So why is it illegal to know? So basically, the syringe is empty. There is nothing inside of it except air. And since it's "empty" and will cause a heart attack, it will be a little bit difficult to know about the syringe being injected. The amount of traces for the investigation will be a little bit hard to work on and most of the time, investigators may dictate the death as a heart attack. Well, if the investigation is not satisfied with the cause then he or she may have to work deeply into it. *"Law in the Philippines where the spouse can kill his or her partner alongside mistress if ever the spouse caught them "making love"."* There is a law in the Philippines that makes me happy at some point. There is a body of law in the Philippines that contains all the general penal laws in the country called The Revised Penal Code. This body of law is from the Codigo Penal, dating back from the time the country is still in the Spanish era. If ever you caught your spouse cheating "on the act", you have all the rights to kill both of them. However, this only applies to legal couples, meaning they made a promise to God, as well as in the papers and documents. Unlike other laws in the Philippines, this law doesn't apply to being in jail after committing a crime. There is this thing called "Destierro", or in the English language, Banishment. The one who committed the "crime", although it does not technically have to be called a crime, will not be allowed anywhere near the area where friends and family of the dead people are residing currently. I have heard the news about having this law making the idea more clear. Since most of the time, abuse towards women and children still is an ongoing problem, Laws like this are most likely to be a case for protection. What are your thoughts on these things? Have you ever wonder how many more illegal things can you do?
