Assalam-e-Alaikum

Dear friends hope all of you are fine and enjoying this platform.

"It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled."

My uncle is a technology expert he always told us that technology hijacking our minds but we think he is making us fool but yesterday he convince us how technology making us fool. Uncle said that he spend the last three years as a google ethicist at Google caring about how to design things so that he defend billions of people's minds from getting hijacked.

By using technology we just focused on what we watch but it might do the opposite. For example, today you watch a few clips of any movie on Facebook, and then you stop ⛔ using it, when you again use Facebook the system hijacked your mind on which type of content do you like on Facebook.

Pixel: watch some clips today on a single topic, related clips again we saw on the next day.

Where does technology exploit our mind's weakness?

We need to understand it like a magician understand the people thought, blind spots, edges and the limits of people perception. After realizing people's weaknesses he shows people what he wants. Once you know how to push people's buttons, you can play them like a piano 🎹 . like magician product designers also play with our psychological vulnerabilities.

There are so many things and because of that we don't leave technology and it using us!

Giving free choice:

Technology has given us a free choice that depends on us what we want to do. Similarly, like technology doing magicians also doing. They give people the illusion of free choice while architecting the menu so that they win 🏆. When we got something freely then we don't live that thing. I think it's human psychology that when he gives free things then he doesn't think 🤔 after it what impact he should face.

For example: When we go to the shopping mall 🏬 we know we got everything here. When we enter a shopping mall we just want to buy a Colgate tube but when we saw another thing we buy so many other things. Because the owner knows how to play with customers minds like these technology given us a free choice so that they would also get profit.

Unsplash: want to buy this thing but buy so many other things because of their strategies

Fear of missing something:

Let's suppose if I convince you that I am a channel for information, friendship, messaging, or sexual opportunities then it's very difficult for you to stop 🚫 me. Like this, we are always afraid that if we don't use it we miss something important.

When that thought came in our mind that if we live it then something we lose then automatically we use, also technology providing so many facilities like sometimes we forget friend birthday only social application especially Facebook tells us that we need to wish him.

Suggestion:

I think almost everyone using technology 📱. I know it's an important part of life without it we can't survive, without it we can't run our business 📈 but when we use it from a negative point of view then it's wrong. I know it's not related to my topic but also I know we can't leave technology at any cost however it hijacked us or not.

But we need to do something that does not affect our life like nowadays it's destroying our life and we don't have proper time for our family because of its technology.

Time is important, utilize it in the best way and not waste it in using Facebook Instagram. Use them just for some time after that leave them and learn something or play some outdoor game so that your mind remains fit also your body.

Always remember me in your prayers 🛐.
