Nikolai I. Russian 6.7.1796 - 2.3.1855 Under the rule of Tsar Nicholas I of Russia, who trained as a soldier, Russia became embroiled in several wars, in which it experienced both victories and painful defeats. When the Russians lost another Crimean war, the people turned against him. He surrendered to fate, so he also did not watch out for the severe cold. He got pneumonia from which he did not recover. The emperor died on this day in 1855.
