A few more days and again this year all the candles will be lit on our Advent wreaths. I posted a picture of my Advent wreath from 2017. I really made it beautiful. I hope you agree. The Advent veneration was first made in 1838 by a pastor in Germany. At the orphanage, he wanted to cheer up the children. The children loved it so much that the pastor decided to repeat it every year. The four candles symbolize hope, love, joy and peace.
