An origami flower that has adorned my room for a couple of years. It's a gift from my son for my birthday. It means a lot more to me than buying flowers, because I know that he made it with love and invested his time and knowledge in making it. All of you who have tried to make it from paper know that it is not easy. Knowledge and precision are needed. The word origami is a compound of the Japanese words ori (folding) and kami (paper). Each form of origami has a special meaning.

I used to make items such as tables and chairs for my Barbie doll in my childhood and I still haven't forgotten how they were made. My son also paints for me on every special day and I keep them all.
The gifted flower is beautiful. Since it is artificial but as you told made by your son with love, it is spreading love and care around still. It's presenting the best matching to the room too.
