This is a 101 year old shoemaking workshop in my city. Mr. Jože. who unfortunately died already, he repaired shoes for 70 years. Before him, the shoemaker was already his father. Now the workshop has been converted into a museum so that everyone can see what tools were sometimes used to repair and make shoes. Jože needed up to 14 hours to make new shoes and farmers sometimes paid him for shoes with a cow or an ox. I remember the smell of glue spreading around his workshop.

What a tradition for respect and esteem, unfortunately many old crafts are dying out and there is no one to do them anymore and if many are still needed by everyone
