https://youtu.be/s2QOK21pm5s Here is a little frantic synth composition I created while commuting on the train this week. I made it just in time for the holidays where everyone is encouraged to rack up as much credit card debt as possible. We all get bombarded by ads and sales this time of year, just remember the original holidays we are trying to celebrate rather than the incorporated ones lol. Thanks for listening :-) #music #synth #originalcontent

https://youtu.be/4RP7Sen7YnU Here is an improvisation based on my Malekko Lofi Ekko 616 delay pedal. Each of the four guitar tracks uses a different setting on the Lofi Ekko to create effects ranging from slapback delay to more of a plate reverb/tremelo. I also combined bias fx amp modeling with the direct signal from the lofi to mix in some pitch shifting and more distorted amp sounds. The end result was a nice spaced out reverb guitar track that sounds a bit classical in nature. Thus I named this one The Cathedral as it reminds me of something that would be played in the natural reverb space of a cathedral. Thanks for listening :-) #music #guitar #originalcontent

https://youtu.be/wRTBzfqyQdw Here is the start of a new backing track on my Hiren Roy sitar. I had to tune all 21 strings recently so this was just a quick test to see if everything was in tune and I made up this riff and it started sounding good enough for a backing track. After playing the riff to a 6/8 metronome I added the drums to match the sitar parts. I also wanted to test out some different effects on a direct signal from the pickups I put on the sitar. I tried out three different ambient effects chains throughout this test. Eventually I'll mix this into something that can be improvised over perhaps on my stratocaster or one of my other guitars. That's all for now, thanks for listening :-) #music #sitar

https://youtu.be/nUq05QgDZas Here is an improvisation on my PRS hollowbody I where I played whatever came to mind to a basic 4/4 130 bpm metronome. Once I got the guitar tone right in Bias FX 2 I added drums via EZ drummer using the Big Rock EZX with a bit of reverb and compression on it. I tweaked the final mix a bit in Adobe Audition to widen out the drums a bit. The moody riff reminds me of FUD being spread around so someone can grift the price of some sort of financial asset while they stack it in the background. #music #guitar #originalcontent

Here is a red bellied woodpecker about to go into its home high up in a tree. I wonder if any babies are inside the hole it pecked out? #nature #photography #originalcontent

https://youtu.be/u_nsjEP50RM Here is a little instrumental darkwave song I composed on my commute into work on the train. I used my akai mpk mini midi controller with MPC 2 to compose the beats. Later I mixed it with some additional effects in cakewalk to space out the tracks and master the overall song a bit. It has a gloomy mood to it so I named it gloam and place some cloud footage to go along with it. That's all for now, thanks for watching and listening :-) #music

https://youtu.be/XbAKx4enE4s For this one I used my Eventide Pitchfactor to produce all the 8-bit retro synth sounds. Previously it was impossible to control this complex pedal. Now there is an H9 software that can control all aspects of the pedal. There are so many options on it that you can create a whole song around some of it's unique effects. The first track on my G&L ASAT is a step sequencer effect that creates a rhythm with each note. I used this rhythm to program the drums around it. The next track is on my Stratocaster Plus and it uses a motorcycle synth effect with some reverb on it to soften it up a bit. There is a tiny track in the middle on my G&L ASAT 30th Anniversary guitar that uses a video game style phaser with a step sequencer on it. Next is a track on my G&L Fallout that is an octaver that creates 8 harmonious pitches per note, almost sounding like an organ. The final track is on my home-made partsocaster with a bitcrush distortion and some reverb and delay on it. Overall this song reminds me of old 8-bit game soundtracks something like a space flying game where you dodge asteroids and spaceships then collect power ups. https://youtu.be/P1cy6o61rWw Here is a post punk style improvisation that started out with a bass riff and a custom drum beat in Superior Drummer. Once I had the bass and drum tracks figured out I improvised a few G&L ASAT tracks over it. The first track has bias fx 2 with a dotted eighth delay and some overdrive. The second track is a huge mess of effects in guitar rig 6. Overall the gritty kind of mood of the song reminds me of how civilizations eventually grow old and decay then finally fall apart. Thanks for listening :-) #music #guitar #originalcontent

https://youtu.be/b4nyXaGEuzI Here's a song where I made my guitars sound like a synth via the Enzo Meris guitar pedal. You can get all sorts of interesting old school and modern synth sounds out of that pedal. I guess the style of this song is sort of synthwave and lofi. #music #guitar #lofi #originalcontent.

https://youtu.be/FZSXjQTS1Ec Here is a song I made a year ago that has a post punk rock vibe to it. For this one I really used the whammy bar on the stratocaster to warble the notes/chords to bring out the sustained parts of the song. #music #guitar #originalcontent

https://youtu.be/RoZLTQm-d2s Here is a surf rock style song I came up with on my G&L ASAT. I wanted to test out if my tank reverb pedal could make that 60s era style surf rock sound. It all fell together easily as I just made up the riffs on the spot then mixed them later on. #music #guitar

Here are some loud honking Canadian geese up in the sky. I wonder if these ones will migrate south for the winter. Many just hang around all year around. #nature #photography #birds #fall #originalcontent

Look at this monstrocity of a pumpkin. I suspect this would be hard to carve into a jackolantern but it would look extra creepy with all those tumors growing on it lol. #originalcontent

Looks like peak fall color is hitting around here. The maples look the brightest right now but soon some of the other trees will turn yellows and red as well. #nature #fall #photography #originalcontent

What better way to start my first post than with weird mushrooms. I found these under some wet leaves in the forest. Their common name is jelly clubs and their Latin name is Leotia lubrica. Technically they are edible but they are fairly bland with a waxy texture. #nature #fungilover #photography #originalcontent
