The moment of totality during the North American total solar eclipse of 2017 as viewed from the Sawtooth Wilderness area of Idaho. I camped overnight deep in the mountains to get this shot as I knew that the area had the least possible chance of cloudy conditions. There is simply no way to describe a total eclipse, you really need to experience it to understand it. It's a feeling of awe combined with some deep ancestral fear. Totality only lasts around two minutes but those are some of the longest minutes of your life. #Travel
