Courtyard of the Po-i-Kalan Islamic religious complex (Poi Kalon/پای کلان‎ ) in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The Kalyan Minaret shown dates back to 1127, and was the only structure spared by Genghis Khan during his conquest of the region as he found it so impressive. The city of Bukhara is one of the most impressive cities of Central Asia and is worth going out of your way to visit. I visited Uzbekistan and took this photo on a trip across Central Asia in May, 2014. #Travel
