The moon rising over the Watzmann mountain as seen from the town of Berchtesgaden, Germany. Berchtesgaden is a gorgeous old Bavarian mountain town with an unfortunate WWII-era past of serving as the location of the Kehlsteinhaus (aka Eagle's Nest) and the Obersalzberg Nazi mountain retreat. Modern Berchtesgaden is delightfully beautiful, and I had the pleasure of visiting it back in the Spring of 2012. #Travel
